"haechan, she won't let you meet her.." miss baek said and slightly shook her head.

haechan face turned gloomy after she said that to him, "oh.. it's okay then.. can you give her this ?" he handed miss baek a basket full with her favorite chocolates and some skincare in it alongside with a mini plushie.

miss baek takes the basket from haechan and pat his arm, "she'll be fine.. trust me."

she gives him a reassuring smile before walking him towards the door, "don't let her starve herself, please.." he says before walking out of the door.

miss baek nod, "i promise i won't."

haechan sigh before walking away from the front porch, he turn around with a heavy heart and his eyes darted towards the girl's bedroom windows on the second floor.

he stare at it for a good minute before forcing his feet to walk away from there.

"i love you, jaehee. always." he thoughts to himself as he drag himself to go home.

"jaehee ?" miss baek knocks on the girl's bedroom door.

she tried twisting the doorknob but it doesn't budge since jaehee locked it.

"i'm fine, mommy." jaehee yell from inside, voice laced with sadness.

miss baek endure the feeling of breaking down and place the basket in front of the door, "haechan gave you this, i will place it in front of the door for you.. i love you okay ?" she says before walking away from there to give her daughter space.

after 20 minutes, jaehee slowly opens the door
and reach out for the basket. she grabs it and close the door again before locking it.

she stare at the basket and tears immediately starts leaving her eyes. she choked on her tears when she saw a note tugged in between the stuffs inside.

"my dear jaehee, i know you're not feeling well.. i'm so sorry for everything, i just want you to know that i will wait for you even if it takes eternity for you to look into my eyes and rant to me about your problems again. i miss your eyes, your voice, your smile, your laugh and most importantly your love. i want to be there for you, but i respect your decision. i couldn't think of any better reason why you're avoiding me but all i know it got something to do with that crazy bitch. i'm so sorry for jumping into conclusions but that's the only thing that i could think of. anyway, please don't skip your meals and promise me you will see me again soon with the healthier version of you. i will always love you, baek jaehee."

jaehee drop the note and shakes her head in fear, "no.. haechan, please don't do anything.. i don't want her to hurt you.." she whispers to herself as she stare at the note on the floor.

"i hate you, you've ruined my life."
