A/N: Hey guys! How's life been to you all? Anything you want to talk about? Oh, and don't play the video until I say so!

Y/N's POV
•••••
I practically sprinted towards the dining table. Halfway through the conversation I realized that
A) I was with my crush. Alone. And he HAPPENED to be real, and
B) If we went on like this, questions about where I was from would be inevitable.
As I got to the table, I helped out in bringing all the plates. "We are simply so grateful! Thank you, dear ladies, for letting us stay in your home!" Armstrong said. "It's fine, really!" I said, smiling warmly at him. "So (y/n), Roxy, I couldn't help but think we still don't know each other that well! Why don't we talk for now?" I tensed at that. "Uh, sure! Who do you want to talk first, me or Roxy?" I asked, praying it wouldn't be me. "Hmm... let's start with you! What's it like where you're from?" "Depends. Do you want to know about where I'm from or the boarding school I go to?" "Well... Where you're actually from! What's your personal life like?" I sighed in relief, glad she wasn't asking so much where as what. "Well, I have a mother who used to work as a (profession) until she had me and my sister Victoria. My dad's a college teacher who specializes in the fields of philosophy and politics, plus, he's a sucker for Greek mythology." I paused, thinking of what else I could say. "Uh.. they got divorced when I was young, but it wasn't a screamy fight kind of divorce. More like they realized they didn't fit as a couple, but a bit more long-distance. And no, they didn't fake peacefulness, I would've been able to hear them fighting and shouting, their room was close by mine. I was in regular school until I was 12, then I went to a boarding school til present day. It's in this country with lots of culture and history, and it's AMAZING! The architecture is wonderful and there are so many beautiful landmarks!"
"And you, Roxy?"
"Oh, I've lived in that country my whole life, nothing special in my opinion. My mum was an athlete, but she retired and started working as a writer. My dad's a salesman, he used to share the business with his twin, until... he, um, died."
"..."
"HOW?!" Winry screeched.
"Oh, he got shot... It's a shame, really, he and my dad were almost inseparable."
Now, insert the Armstrong feels.
"Oh, my! What a tragic story! The bond of brotherhood, broken so abruptly by death!" He said, sobbing as he did. "Oh, there's nothing to worry about, Dad's recovered very well, his PTSD is almost go-" "PTSD?! Oh, my dear Roxy, your father has gone through war?! The horror! I truly wish my best for your family, I really do!" At this point, Louis was blowing his nose on a gigantic handkerchief.
"Okay... so, (y/n), you had a guitar with you when you came?" Oh, that's right! Truth had transported my wand and my guitar too, whether out of some sort of rare lenience (which I highly doubted), a real-life glitch of sorts (which seemed the most reasonable answer as to the guitar), or he thought it'd make life a whole lot more interesting (probably why we have our wands). Roxy had her wand and her iPod, two things that could cost us dearly if others found them. "Yeah! I do." "Could you play something for us?"
At that I gulped nervously. I knew what Roxanne would say, and I didn't want to do it in front of everybody.
"Hey (y/n), you should play that Spanish song you learned!"
The dreaded comment came out of her damned mouth. I sighed. I was bilingual, I knew how to speak not only English, but Spanish, too.
"First off, it's not a Spanish song, it's sung in the Spanish lamguage but it's not from Spain. Second, you know I-" "But (y/n)-chaaaaan!"
We had a silent staring contest, but she won. These ARE people from another dimension whom I may never see again. "Eh, screw it. Let me go get my guitar." I ran up to get my guitar and came down heaving the case in which I carry it. "Need a little help?" Ed asked, smiling. I looked away, blushing a little. "Thanks, but I'm fine!" I said, smiling back.
I pulled a chair over and took out the glossy black instrument (a/n: if you prefer other just change it) and began to play the song I had memorized so many years ago taking music and Spanish lessons with Roxy (a/n: the song's La Maza by Silvio Rodriguez. You don't sound like him, of course. I know it's long, just bear with me and listen to the song. It's beautiful in my opinion. Here's the link for the lyrics in both languages http://lyricstranslate.com/en/La-Maza-mallet.html )

In the end, everyone was staring at me, mouth open. Except for Roxanne, of course, who was smirking like a madman. "Gosh, was I that bad?" I joked, smiling sarcastically. Winry was the first to snap out of the trance. "No, not AT ALL!! You. Are. AMAZING!!" Where'd you learn how to play? And your voice is so beautiful!!!" "Winry's right, (Y/N), you do have a good voice." Al said sweetly. "Good pair of lungs you got there, kid. Reminds me of myself when I was younger." Pinako said, grinning from ear to ear. The Major just blew his nose on the same handkerchief and clapped enthusiastically. I grinned slightly, internally doing a happy dance and visibly blushing. "Oh, thanks. I didn't think I was that good." "That's because YOU NEVER EFFING PLAYED FOR AN AUDIENCE. The closest thing was singing while you worked in class!" Roxy practically shouted. We didn't dare curse in front of the Major. I laughed a bit then looked at the clock. "Wow, 12 am already? I'm going to bed!" I said. "Same here. You coming, Al?" "Right behind you." And soon enough, everyone was asleep.
Except for a certain suit of armor and an insomniac (h/h).
