"What? No, we can't leave Alby here for dead, I couldn't live with myself if I did!" I hissed at him.

He huffed in frustration. "Shuck you, Skyler. You'll be the death of me" He hissed back. (Lmao they snakes)

He hoisted Alby up, and fixed it so he had his arm wrapped around Minhos neck, and I did the same on the other side.

"Now, smartass, what are we going to do with him?" Minho asked.

Oh no. I didn't think of that. I look around the walls and ground, thinking of somewhere we could at least hid him.. The vines! He could tie him to the vines and lift him up!

"The vines, here hold him for a second" I let go of Alby and and run over to the vines, and find one that would hold someone.

"Come here, help me tie him to this vine" I said, before Minho dragged him over.

"So what's this plan of yours?"

"We will tie him and pull him up the wall, so shut up we don't have much time!" I whisper back.

After me and Minho make sure he's properly tied, and start to pull him up the wall. We get Alby about 1/4 of the way when we heard weird noises.

Minhos head shot up at the sounds. And then we hear the familiar wailing sound, coming from the corridor to our right. He looked me in the eyes with a stare that says 'We have to go, now'

"Minho, don't you even dare-" I was cut off by another wailing sound.

"Skyler, I'm sorry" And Minho let go and started running towards the corridor to the left. Alby was dropped down a little more, and I was pushed towards the wall.

"MINHO! MINHO! DONT!" I scream for him to come back.

Another wail let me know that the griever was coming towards me. I had to think, quick. I went under the vines and made sure I was covered.

I Found a stump that looked strong enough to hold Alby, so I quickly tied the vine to the stump, pulling it making sure it would hold. It did. I heard the sound of metal scraping off of the ground, and it was coming down my corridor. I tied to control my breathing, making it quieter.

It was silent, other than the occasional metal scraping off of the floor. It went quiet for 5 seconds, before the creature rolled right in front of me. I think I let out a small squeal, and I really hope it didn't hear me. I covered my mouth with my hands. All I could see was huge spider, metal legs. Finally it passed me, and entered the corridor Minho entered. Oh no.

I get out from where I was, better if I run around avoiding them then letting them finding me. I get up and run to the end of the corridor from where the griever came from, looking around the corner with my head, making sure there was no grievers. There was. It was turning out of the corridor next to me and was walking the other direction. I quickly snap my head behind the wall I was hiding behind. I think it noticed something moving, because it stopped walking and turned around. I ran down the opposite direction. If it didn't hear me then, it heard me now, because my feet were slamming off the ground making an echo around the walls. I heard it starting to hurry to catch me.

I turn to the right, not wanting to run into the other one. I run as fast as I can and took a left. I couldn't hear it anymore, so I stopped to take a quick breath. I had my hands on my knees, gasping for air, when all of a sudden I feel a gooey, warm substance dribbling onto my head and shoulder. I look up, and almost scream.

It lets out another wail, and I start to run. I feel the ground tremble as it jumped onto the ground, and started following me. I turn right again, to come face to face with another griever. I run in the other direction, just missing the griever that was already following me. I take another right, and my legs already feel like giving up on me. I almost ran into a wall when I realized... I had came to a dead end. Oh no. Are you serious?

Both of the grievers came around the corner, sliding into the wall and then into each other. They stopped and wailed, just as if they were laughing at me. I got to get a proper look at them. They had red mechanic eyes that illuminated in the dark, and spider like arms that were made of metal they were as sharp as razors, and some of its body was metal, and other was this yellow, jelly like stuff? I'm not too sure but it's scary.

I have an idea, and hoped I have really good jumping skills. I got in a ready stance, and screamed for them to come to me. It took about three tries, but they eventually started to run towards me. I took a deep breath. I can do this. As soon as they were half a meter away from me, I jump over the middle of them, and landing on my feet with my hands balancing me on the floor. I heard them both wailing out, before I heard a crashing noise. I look back to see they both crashed into the wall behind me, their legs all tangled up with each other.

I stood staring, shock that my plan worked. They were starting too try to untangle, when an arm grabbed me, pulling me around the corridor. I look and see Minho, and he looked shocked. I don't really forgive him for running off and leaving Alby for dead.

"I have an idea, come on follow me" he whispered.

The grievers had untangled themselves by now, and are starting too run after us again. Minho lead me through loads of corridors, until we reached a cliff, that had.. blackness at the edge? It looks like a void... My taughts were interrupted by another wail. When they turned the corner, there was now three. Great.

Minho looked at me and said "okay we're going to do what you did, but we need to be in sync. On go, okay?"
I nod in response.

The grievers wail once more and started to run at us..

"1, 2, 3, GO!" Minho screamed as we both started running, and we both jumped at the same time, but this time my leg banged off of its body and instead of landing I fell. I heard their last wails as they fell over the cliff. I felt a hand helping me up. I muttered a 'thanks' before waking to the edge of the cliff. I looked over and then turned to Minho "Is that it? Are they gone?" But before Minho could answer, my leg was grabbed by one of the grievers spider legs. It started to drag me and I fell and hit the floor again, and this time hard.

"MINHO! HELP!" I scream and he's already at my side. He grabs my hand and tries to pull me back. But when he finds out that isn't working he starts to kick its leg. After about 6 attempts the griever finally gave up and let go of my leg. Minho pulls me up and off of the edge, and pulls me into a bear hug.

"I really taught I was going to lose you" he said, his voice slightly cracking.

I didn't say anything back.I just hugged him tighter.

"Albys okay" I say, after about 5 minutes of silence.

"Oh... look, I'm really sorry for leaving you, I just got freaked and if I didn't go then, I would be dead"

I just nodded and got up from his hug. I sit at the edge, and start throwing nearby rocks down into the void. I throw a rock into the middle and noticed something. I throw another rock, making sure it was real. The rocks were disappearing in the middle, but around it I could see them falling.

"Minho, come here and look at this" I whispered, not wanting to attract anymore grievers.

He came and sat beside me "what is it?" He asks.

"Here look when I throw a rock in the middle..." I got a rock a threw it in the middle of the void. "see how it's just disappearing? And look when I throw the rocks around it I can see them going.."

Minho looked at me and said "are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"That this could have something to do with the way out? Yeah"
