13.Gally

We sat leaned against a wall, waiting for the sun to rise. Lets just hope our theory about the Void is right. Minho had fallen asleep, with his head on my shoulder.

As soon as I saw the sun rise, I immediately woke Minho up.

"Come on, get up" I shook him awake, and stood up.

"No, just five more minutes..." before closing his eyes again.

"No, I wanna get out of this hell hole, come on" I urged him on, with no response.

I knelt down infront oh him, and kissed him. This definitely woke him up, because I felt him kissing back.As I broke the kiss he said "that's one way to wake someone up" and then almost scared me as he jump up, bringing me into a bear hug. He lifted me up, and twirled around.

"We shucking did it! we survived" he smiled and let me go. I started giggling uncontrollably, and took his and in mine and starts to run back to the glade.

It took about half an hour to get back, and my legs ere aching like mad. We reached the doors as the doors, and as they opened we saw Chuck standing outside, waiting for us. When he saw us, his eyes lit up and a smile spread across his face.

"Minho! Skyler! Newt, come here now!" Chuck basically screamed. Newt was over to us in a matter of seconds. His eyes widened in shock as he saw us.

"How the bloody hell? How did you two survive? Where's Alby?" We were blasted with questions straight away.

"He's over there, on the wall" I said as pointing towards one of the walls behind me.

"What? How did you two think of that?" He asks

"No, I didn't, she did. By her shucking self"

Newt sent out some boys to go get Alby while I was brought to the med-jacks. I had cut myself when I fell both times.

When I was halfway there Minho ran up to me and started walking with me."Taught you were going for a shower?" I ask

"Yeah, but I couldn't get half way there without Newt asking me a million questions"

The med-jacks were not busy yet, so they tended to me straight away. It was just the basics, cleaning and wrapping my wounds. When they were finished I said a 'thank you' before leaving with Minho. He was quiet the whole time when I was getting my cuts cleaned.

"I'm going to take a shower, mind watching the door for me?" I say, snapping him out of his taughts.

"Yeah sure..... Why did you run in for me?"

I didn't really know how to answer that. I guess I just felt like that I had to do something.

"I couldn't leave you" is all I could answer and he nodded in response, before holding my hand in his. As we reached the homestead, I ran upstairs, got new clothes and towels and headed back downstairs, and into the shower where I found Minho waiting for me. I open the door and walk in and before closing it I say "Don't let anyone in, and your not allowed to sneak in, got it?"

"I'll try" he smirked.

I laughed and closed the door. I didn't realize how dirty my clothes were until now. My top was ripped, and where I had fallen on my knees the fabric was fading away. I quickly brush my hair and strip off and get into the shower.

As soon as I feel fresh enough, I get out. Get the town and start to dry myself and then pull on cargo pants and a top. I grab the towels and put them into a wash bag before leaving.

I walk out side to a sleeping Minho.
I shake him awake.

"Greats job on watching the door for me, slinthead" I said as I push him over with my foot. He wakes up and gets up.

"Sorry you were taking forever" he sasses. I roll my eyes at him.

"I'm going in now" he says and kisses my forehead and then enters the bathroom. I decide to go get some food from frypan, and he gives me some toast and a apple. Better than nothing because there's never any left overs. I sit down at one of the tables and eat, and I absolutely devour my food. I'm starving. After I finish my toast, Newt comes and sits beside me. "We're having a gathering tomorrow. About you." He says, looking down at his hands. "You're in trouble..Gallys giving out stink about you"

Oh no. I think I knew somewhere that I was gonna get in trouble, but I did save Albys life. So that has to count for something.

"Why? I was only helping! And if you didn't see, I saved Albys life!"

"Yes, and I'm very thankful for that, but it's Gally. He won't bloody give up unless you get some kind of punishment, because you went into the maze and you're not a runner so..." He said looking up at me.

"Fine" I say getting up and leaving my apple on the table. "If it was ever him in Albys situation, I'll make sure to leave him" I mumble, probably a bit too loud because I could hear Newt chuckle behind me and say "Good that"

When I was walking too my room I found Gally walking out of his room. As soon as he closed the door he turned around and saw me, with a death glare.

He walks by me and pushes me into the wall, making me bang my head.
"Listen here, I know there's something's up with you, and I'm gonna find out. Killing three grievers, no ones done that before"

I laughed in his face, which made him angrier. "Yeah, Killed three, while you can barley fight a person. Doesn't that not tell you something? And while doing that, I saved Albys life, which is way more than you've ever done" I spat back.

He flinched at the hurtful words, and let go of my arms. He started walking away before muttering "There's something with you, and I'm gonna find out"

And the thing was, I think he was right.
