[Name] sat on the porch to her current staying, staring at her cousin baffled when he sat right next to her.
Muichiro appeared out of nowhere almost giving her a heart attack of being so quiet on his feet. He didn't say anything at first just staring at the clouds as if to remind himself what he was going to say.
"Mui."
His young eyes met hers and she noticed the empty glossy stare as if every last drop of joy wasn't there anymore.
"I've wanted to talk to you since our Master told me you were alive...and...when you send me that letter." [Name] smiled at him, tilting her head to find an ounce of emotion. It felt awkward.
"I..remember you." He said as he tilted his head to match you. "I can't put my finger on where we met."
[Name] heard of his memory loss, but shoved that thought away.
"I'm [Name] Nishimura. I'm your cousin, Mui. You remember that nick name?" She asked carefully not to overwhelm him.
For a second a spark lingered in his eyes before it disappeared. He squinted his eyes at you, trying his hardest to reach for a memory of you.
It hit him then.
"[N/Name]?"
[Name] hasn't heard him say that in years when he was like a littler boy. She would occasionally visit with her brother when she was much younger.
"Yes, Mui. It's me." She grinned, trying to hold back the tears that formed. Muichiro looked a bit baffled but immediately moved to hug her which surprised [Name] greatly but she didn't care. She was just happy to have her family with her.
The two caught up a bit. [Name] being patient with him trying his best to recall events, telling her what he's been up to the past days.
Something about Tanjiro and a weird mannequin with six arms. She didn't question it, but surely Tanjiro was fine. (No he wasn't)
Muichiro then stood up telling her to follow her because he wanted to find Tanjiro because of his sword smith or something. She was confused but didn't hesitate to follow.
