Teo's POV

I came back home about 30 minutes before dinner. I convinced Luke to join me for dinner. We were walking back home. I looked across the street and noticed the moving truck was gone. Wow they had finished unpacking really quickly. I walked into the house and noticed my mom hurriedly walking around the house setting the dinner table. She rushed over to me.

"Go take a shower and change Teo. Our new neighbors Mr. McCarty, Mrs. McCarty and they're daughter are coming over for dinner."

"Oh. Your having guests over Mrs. Halm. I'll leave then." Luke said walking over to the door.

"Oh no Luke you can stay." My mom said.

"Are you sure Mrs. Halm? I don't want to be a distraction."

"Oh Luke your such an adorable, polite gentleman." My mom gushed. "And no don't worry your fine."

"Thank you Mrs. Halm." Luke replied politely.

I hurried upstairs. Dang Luke was so polite. Sometimes is seemed like my mom liked him better than me. I took a 10 minute shower. I jumped out and wrapped a towel around my waist. I went into my room and changed into a pair of jeans, a blue button down shirt and a pair of black formal shoes. "This will have to do" I tough. I went downstairs and saw that the table was already set up. Then the doorbell rang.

"Teo can you get it please" My mom yelled from the kitchen.

I fixed my shirt one last time and opened the door. Standing in the doorway was a young looking man with dirty blonde hair and hazel colored eyes. Next to him was a really beautiful young looking woman who had long brunet hair and brown eyes.

"Why hello Mr. and Mrs. McCarty. I'm Teo Mrs. Halm's son. Come on in." I greeted.

"Why thank you Teo." Said Mrs. McCarty with a big smile. I lead them into the the living room and went to the kitchen to get my mom. I found her in there along with Luke.

"Teo I'm going to go talk with Mr. and Mrs. McCarty. You hang out with Luke while they're daughter gets here."

"Ok" I replied

I headed to the basement with Luke. We just talked. About 10 minutes into our conversation I heard the doorbell ring again.

"I'll be right back" I told Luke.

I headed upstairs. I kept wondering many things about Mr. and Mrs. McCarty's daughter. How old was she? What did she look like? Was she friendly? When I got to the door I opened it. There with her back facing towards me was a girl about the same age as me. When I opened the door she turned around. She had beautiful brunette hair that was tied up, with a hair tie that had flowers around it, in a adorable messy bun. She was wearing a lace tank top with a black kimono that had flower designs, a pair of navy ripped skinny jeans, a pair of brown leather high heel boots and a small black purse slung on her shoulder. She was stunning and it took me a while to recognize her without makeup, but I had to admit she looked a lot better without it.

"Teo?!" She asked surprised. She had a huge smile that showed her perfect pearl white teeth and those adorable dimples I had fallen in love with.

"Amanda?" Was all I could come up with.

"You actually remember me?!" She asked surprised her smile getting even bigger.

"Of course. How could I forget a beautiful girl like you?" She just blushed and looked down. "Well anyways come on in! What are you doing here?" I said walking towards the basement door.

"My dad got offered a job here." She replied sadness in her eyes.

"Aren't you happy?"

"Yeah. But moving here means starting all over again. Leaving my friends behind. And quitting everything I worked for."

I saw a tear roll down her cheek. I put my hand on her face a wiped it away with my thumb.

"Don't cry. Your too beautiful to cry." I said hugging her.

I pulled away and noticed that stunning smile had returned.

"Thanks Teo." She said.

Before I knew what was happening she pecked my lips. It was a fast moment that was gone quickly. Her lips felt like hot cocoa on a cold night.

"See. You give amazing kisses as well" I said as she blushed and giggled.

I took her hand and intertwined our fingers. I lead her downstairs to the basement since our parents were still talking. All of a sudden she stopped dead on her tracks in the middle of the stairs.

"Are you ok?" I asked noticing she had turned pale.

She was staring at Luke. Luke was staring back at her as well.

"Luke?" She asked.
