Chapter 5

Amanda's P.O.V.

(The next morning)

I woke up and looked at my clock. 10:00 am. My head hurt and my pillow was soaking wet. Then I remembered what had happened last night. I tried to hold back my tears but then figured there was no point. I cried and cried again. A while later I decided to text my friends so we could meet up. "Hey guys. Can we meet at Starbucks in 1 hour? Please"

A couple of minutes later they all texted back saying yes. I went in to the shower and took an extra long shower to calm my nerves. I got out and blow dried my hair, made some beach waves with my hair iron, put on some makeup (concealer, foundation, smokey eyeshadow look, eyeliner and a peach colored lipstick), and changed into a pair of white high waisted shorts, a black tank top with the words "normal is boring" and a pair of white and black vans.

I looked at the time. 10:45. I grabbed my skateboard and headed downstairs. I sneaked out of the house because I didn't want to see anyone.

I arrived at Starbucks 5 minutes early but all of my friends were already waiting there. I ordered a vanilla bean frap with two pumps of peppermint caramel syrup and whipped cream with a caramel drizzle. My friends bought caramel fraps.

We say down at a table.

"So what's in your mind?" Asked Valeria

I didn't even bother trying to hold back my tears.

"Omg! What's wrong Amanda?!" Lucy asked looking worried.

I didn't try to act normal. I just told them.

"Girls I need to tell you something. But before I do I want you guys to promise that you will try to understand and that no matter how far away we are from each other you guys will keep in touch"

They all promised.

"Well this is hard for me to tell you guys but... I'm moving to L.A. in a month"
