(Amanda's POV)
I regret going back home. My day had been amazing, but it was all ruined when I got back. I was greeted with this.
"Amanda, we need to talk." Said my mom in a serious voice.
"Ok?" I replied kind of worried.
My mom guided me into the living room where my dad was waiting.
"What's going on," I asked
"Well your mother and I have some news," said my dad
I was starting to get scared. "What is it?"
"We'll this can be good news or bad news it all depends on how you take it," my mom said.
I was really scared by now. "Could you just tell me please?!"
My dad looked at me. "Amanda I got offered a new job,"
Relief washed over me. "Oh, dad this is great!"
"Amanda I don't think your getting the point," said my mom
"What do you mean?"
My dad looked sad. "Amanda we are moving to California in a month,"
"What?!" The relief quickly turned into anger. "You can't do this to me!"
Mom looked disappointed at my opinion. "Amanda this is not easy for any of us,"
"I don't care! All of my friends are here! Your making me quit my life here in Oregon and start from zero in California! It's not fair!!" I stormed out of the living room. As I was going up the stairs I could hear my parents calling me. When I got to my room I slammed the door shut and locked it.
I cried a lot. And finally I cried myself to sleep.
