The last couple days, I kept seeing the boy in the red hoodie, each night I grew more curious and he seemed more anxious to get where he wanted to go. I decided to sneak out and follow him. When I knew Drew and Korine were asleep I snuck out the apartment. I stood outside pretending to have a smoke. At 1:09 I saw his rushing down the street. Here goes nothing. I slowly walked behind him, not to close but not to far. After what seemed like hours, I followed him onto a broken down street. The houses were mostly abandoned.
Parker, you idiot! You're probably gonna get murdered.
A couple houses down I saw him walk into a house. I heard yelling and cursing. I walked closer to hear what they were saying.
"Look, Haim's finally here!" I heard a raspy voice said.
"Look, Jase. I have to stop this." I heard someone say.
"You can't! If you do, who will bring us drugs? Food? Clothes?" The raspy voice said, who I'm guessing is Jase.
"B-but Jase. I can't just leave my house in the middle of the night and lie to my mom if she catches me sneaking in or with cuts and bruises." The boy said.
"Shut up, if you stop bringing us the stuff. We'll find you and kill you. I've already got two murders on my file, one more won't hurt." Jase yelled. What have I done following him. I looked around and I knew no way home. I guess I'll wait and follow him into town. I sat there until I heard the door creak open. I tried to get up but got caught on the bush, making a lot of noise. I pulled away and looked up. There stood the boy in the red hoodie, right in front of me.
"Who are you?" He asked.
"Um I'm-"
"Shh, let's go before Jase sees you." He said, pulling me away.
Why ask a question, when you're just gonna cut me off???
We walked a block and I finally said something.
"Parker Lane, that's who I am." I said.
"Corey Haim." He smiled, "so what were you doing hiding in the bushes at Jase's house?"
"I followed you there."
"Well that's not creepy. I know I'm hot but damn." He laughed.
"Hot? Rob Lowe is hot, you're not." I said, looking at him. He had brown
hair and blue eyes that shined bright even under the street lights."But why'd you follow me?"
"I saw you walking past my apartment building and curiosity got the best of me."
"What the fuck? You know how dangerous that is? You could get killed! And especially since you followed me to Jase's, He's a fucking psycho!"
"What did he mean when he said he'd kill you?"
"It's nothing."
"No, really."
"It's not a big deal." He said, forcing a laugh.
"Sounded like a big deal to me." I said.
"Why do you care? You're just a creepy teenage girl who follows random guys probably wanting to get fucked." He said, making me stop in my tracks.
"Excuse me Mr. I bring drugs to a pyscho, I do not want to get fucked, and definitely not by you." I said, storming past him.
"Calm down. Bitchy much?" He said, mumbling the last part.
"Jackass." I whispered.
"Wrong way, babygirl." He said, laughing as I took a right and he took a left. I turned and followed him.
"Ugh, I hate you." I said, rolling my eyes.
"But you don't even know me." He said, lighting a smoke.
