~Gluttony~
“I’m hungry!” She cries day in and day out,
And when not heard she does nothing but pout,
Or flies into a ridiculous bout,
Of kicking and screaming and obscenities she’ll spout.
She wants more food, and some more to drink,
She doesn’t want to give time to think,
Into a drunken stupor she’ll sink,
So she can sever any lasting link.
Any reason is cast into the rain,
As more and more weight she finds she can gain,
And she drinks more and eats more than is sane,
Just to drown out all the last of her pain.
She’s living with the sin of being a glutton,
As she craves and begs for a little more mutton,
Never mind the strain on her button,
And now she finds she's weighing a ton.
