~GREED~
There once was a spoiled rotten girl,
Thought that around her the world did twirl,
And believed she deserved each curl,
And she could get anything with the slightest swirl.
This girl saw each worldly thing as hers,
And that everything she wants she deserves,
And that everyone should live to serve,
Her and her secretly jittery nerves.
She desired every worldly thing,
Hoping that happiness they would bring,
And for an instant these things would take the sting
But in the end, each thing was just a useless fling.
But still all she could do was lust and want,
And even the grim warnings wouldn’t daunt,
That all-consuming need to flaunt,
Each time she went on a meaningless jaunt.
She was possessed by the demon of greed,
And she found no difference between want and need,
All it took was one ugly seed,
And now for eternity, she shall bleed.
