~SLOTH~
“I’ll do it tomorrow, or the day after that.”
She always said listlessly as she lied on her mat.
But never does an eyelash even bat.
For all that she cares to do is sit and get fat.
“It’s not really worth the effort it takes”
Yet she doesn't realize what will come; the pains and aches.
She doesn’t realize the damage that she makes.
She doesn’t really realize what’s at stake,
“I don’t care to get up right now”
She says not really knowing how,
How cruel sounding is this kind of vow,
Or the true treachery it will soon sow.
This girl was heralding the ugly monster sloth
And with it she had made a dangerous oath,
One that she would later loathe,
One that would end up killing both.
