3. Forces

-The Man-

"This are the cctv footage sir. As you can see, there wasn't really a single girl that went in." the security guard explains.

"Can you pause that for a moment?" I ask at the guard.

"Of course." and he press the pause button. I instantly took my polaroid camera and my DSLR and took a shot from the tv screens. If you will see from the screen, the room is quite empty and there's really nothing in there but equipments and items for the massage theraphy. But as the saying goes. .

"You know, there is more than what meets the eye." And gave a wink and tap to the guard before leaving the room with a wave and a "Thanks."

I'm Larry Espiniosa. 26. Definetly a straight male, though luck haven't bless me yet with a girlfriend. But Im living my life happy alone. My mom is dead. Dad is dead. Brothers, sisters, don't have. Relatives? At the Philippines. We'll basically, they never saw me once anyway. I'm a half blood american and a filipino. Tall, tan and technically handsome base on the mirrors.

I'm a photographer. Professional photographer. And I'm currently working for a magazine company. This is one rare case in this town so the company decided to put this at the front cover.

"Wait. You don't know?" I casually said to my co-worker when I arrive at the office.

"Of course I do! Silly. I was just testing you if your fully aware of what's assign to you." my co-worker said.

"Of course I do know about the missing girl in the massage whatever company. Its been 3 days and until now, she's still missing." I said while giving her the negative film.

"I think she's just hiding from her deptors." she casually said.

"Don't be judgemental! You know there's mo--

"More than what meets the eye. Yeah. Yeah. I know. You always say that. A lot." she complains and giggles.

"I'm going. Take care." I wave without looking and then walk out of the building. I drop by in the nearest convinience store and bought some drinks and chips to eat. I took out the photo that I shot on the tv screen a while ago.

I touch the center of the photo. I felt nothing. I touch the edge and all-over the picture.
Nothing.

"Hmm. That's odd. I can't fell anything." I said in the air.

Slaaaapppppp!*

"Aw!" I hold my cheek in pain. What the? It hurts. Who did that? I look around but no ones around. And so I thought.

"Sir Larry! I've been looking for you in days. Where have you been?" a man with a blue eyes appears at the store. Is this the one who cause that force to slap my face?

"Uhmm. And who are you?" said with confusion.

"Oh! I-I'm Calvin Linx sir. And I really need your help." the man said.

Oh. Wait. I remember!

"Calvin? From the
vocational school of Lanndon Corps?" I ask.

"Yes! That's me. Now can you please help me sir? I really really need your help." calvin plead.

"Okey. Okey. Hold on. What help can I give?" I said calming him down. His acting wierd. We sat down at the store and he took a picture out of his pocket.

"I want you to free my friend inside this picture." he seriously said.

I smirk. "Then, I think, your looking for the wrong person."

"No. I know who you are. And I saw you did it. And my friends life is at risk here." he said in an angry manner. I want to tell him that his being rude and all, but his eyes.

"What are you talking about kid? I can't do such thi--

"You can." he cuts in. He's looking at me in a determined way that I cannot explain. And by those eyes, I think he knows what I'm capable of.

"You know that I know what your capable of. So please, help me. Just this once." he plead with his teary eyes.

I sigh.

"Sorry kid. But even if I know how, I can't do it anymore. Its been years since I stop being that." I honestly said. Well, because that's the whole truth. I don't even have my materials anymore. And besides, I killed that part of me a long time ago.

"No. I believe in you sir. You are Larry Espiniosa. You can do it because your made to be that. Your born with that ability. You may be a photographer by profession, but I know that you'll always be a mage by heart."
