Chapter 5

The worst thing about being betrayed is that it never comes from your enimies.

Chapter 5
"Your worthless " her words echo in my head

"Get up and fight me you rat"

I can feel the tears streaming down my face as I open my eyes the crowd was still there all I could hear where roars of screaming. Vanessa was hovering over my side with concern in her eyes.

The whole world stops and goes in slow motion as I look around. People are screaming and staring at me with sparkles in there eyes.

Every thing comes back to me when Vanessa shakes me saying something.

"Huh" I ask
"I said are you ok" she repeats
"Yeah I'm fine" I lie

She pulls me up and helps me out of the arena.

"Did I win" I say

She looks at me with a are you serious face "of course you won idiot after the man declared you lost you pretty much walked up to the guy and knocked him out"

"Thanks so much van I love you"

She gives me a small smile and pulls me into a hug.

*flashback*

"You little idiot all you do is make my life miserable!" she shouts walking closer to my body that's curled up on the floor.

She kicks me with a hard force causing me to cry even more.

"Pedals pedals stop, it's only a dream"
Uncle Tom assures me hugging me to his chest.

I snuggle into him as he strokes my hair and sob silently into his chest.

The next morning I woke up from my stupid alarm blaring through my room.

"It's wakey time pedals"

"Hmmgghsn" I mumble

"Come on time for school" I hear as I can feel someone dragging me out of bed.

Finally my body agrees to wake up, I make my way to the bathroom jumping into the shower, after finishing I dry my hair and begin to straighten it.

I chuck on a pair of skinny jeans and my plain black t-shirt. Not forgetting to put my fake glasses on before I leave the house

Finally school was over having miss twegelir was terrible she kept talking about how important it was to show respect to your teachers.

I seriously need Starbucks right now.

As I was walking to Starbucks I was watching the amazing view of the park of the people walking around having fun.

I bumbed into someone which caused them to knock me down.

He puts his hand out to help me.

"I'm so sorry I swear it was an accident at you o-" only then he had looked up

Crap. I start walking away slowly hoping this wasn't happening

"Riley wait please wait" my brother starts walking tawards me making me turn around and quicken my pace.

He starts to run after me as I run as fast I can home, I managed to lose home only then when my head hits the pillow the memories come flooding back.

"Riley I'm ganna eat you all up" my brother cheekily smiles at me.

"You have to catch me first" I say to my 12 year old brother

He chases after me grinning ear to ear

"Caught you and I'm never going to let you go" he says grabbing

I give him a toothy grin "what if you leave me" i say

"That won't be happening" he replies and begins to chase me again.

This is quite normal now me waking up having flashbacks Of my mother my family and most of all her.
