Chapter 16

"What do you mean bye I have to go  with you and your family to a fancy dinner with heaps of business people" I say crossing my arms over my chest

"It means your coming with us as my date to fancy dinner" he says as if it's the most normal thing in the world

"Are you crazy I don't even have a dress" I say annoyed

He lets out an exaggerated sigh " stupid that why we're going shopping now" he says with a 'duh' look on his face.

"Hell no am I going in public with you " I say stubbornly, I may be a boxer but when I want to be childish I can be.

"Aaaaw why not Ganna ruin your reputation" he says smirking not even hurt by my insult.

"No but people will talk at school and I hate attention" ugh this child is stupid.

"Tough luck pedal" he says, and I freeze, only uncle tommy used to call me that.

"Umm Riley are you okay" he says with a worried expression

I clear my throat and snap out of my trance " Why did you call me that" I say with a poker face.

He looked at me confused " um I don't know it suites you" he says with a shrug

"Okay lets go" I say and walk out of the house trying to push the memories away.

I waited in the passengers seat waiting for him to lock up.

He sat in the car and sat there with an awkward silence between us, "uh do you want to drive now" he looks up at me and smirks. "Sure princess" he says and drives out the driveway onto the road.

At the mall ****

"Ok princessa what type of dress are you going for" we had just arrived at the mall, after he asked this question I looked at him the face that say 'does it look like I wear dresses to you'.

"Ok this is ganna be a long day" he says

we had entered a huge boutique filled with all different colours and styles of dresses, the women that worked there came up to us flashing us a smile.

"hi welcome to Lilly's boutique would you like any help" she says flashing us her pearly whites again.

I smiled back at her " I was looking for a dress for a formal ball" I said biting my lip

"right this way we have allot of elegant yet classy but also sexy dresses, ahah what do you think about this one" she says with her eyebrows raised

The dress was navy blue and it was very nice but I didn't feel like this was the one. I decided to hold it in my hand anyways so that when I got to the change room it'll be easier then going in and out.

She continued to show me dresses but they were all like the blue one they were gorgeous but I felt like none of them weren't the one.

In the corner of my eye I see something that pulled my eyes towards it, "excuse me what about this one" I said to the lady, she came to wear I was standing.

"I think that dress would look great on you" she said smiling once again.

Trevor had come back from where ever he was, he ended up getting bored and said that he's just going to walk around the mall.

"are use done yet I'm starving" he says complaining.

"I've just got to try these one" I said rolling my eyes

The lady and Trevor sat on a mini couch out side of the change rooms waiting for me to try on the dresses, it was pretty much as if they were the judges.

First I tried on the navy blue one, it was a nice dress just it didn't suite my body shape. It pretty much made me look like I had no curves.

I walked out and done a little spin for them, they looked at each other then shook there heads. The next dress I tried on was red, this one I really didn't like , at all. I walked out side with a dirty look, thy both immediately shook there heads, the next dress was pink, yes you heard me pink, I skipped it on and I felt like barbie, once again thyme shook there heads after I stepped out.

The last dress was the one I picked out, the dress was beautiful, it was skin tight till around my knees, after that the material flows so nicely to the ground. It was a deep red and it was a v-neck, with an open back.

I stepped out of the change room for hopefully the last time, I did a little spin then turned to look at there reactions, the kind worker was smiling with pride nodding her head, I turned to look at Trevor's face and he's jaw was dropped and his eyes were wide,he swallowed and went back to normal nodding his head.

I looked in the mirror one last time before smiling. "It's the one" I whispered to myself.

I finished off getting changed and took the dress to the front register and started to pull out my wallet.

"That'll be $600 dollars" she said smiling, I widened my eyes and went to pull out my credit card. But before I knew it Trevor was handing the lady his card.

I wasn't going to say anything until we walked out.

As we walked out of the shop I flicked his neck, he flinched and touched were I flicked.

"hey what was that for" he said in a winey voice.

"Why did you lay for the dress" I said furrowing my eyebrows

He knew I was angry.

"well because I'm the reason you had to buy this dress and it wouldn't only be fair if I payed" he said in a duh tone

" but how's that fair" I said still angry

"don't worry princessa my family's loaded" he said winking

"I'm going to ouch you really hard soon" I said with a pissed do smile

He just chuckled lowly and walked out of the mall.

Ugh rich kids problems.
