Chapter 13:Good observation angel

We stood there shocked at what Angelo had said.

Malefica looked at Emily and loosened her grip on her. Emily nodded with a smirk before she took advantage of our shocked expressions and freed herself from Malefica.

"Good observation angel."

"But how?" I asked involuntarily.

"Good question which I'll gladly answer. I'm sure till now you knew that you had been killed with Dumblus Grimm's poison. But what you didn't know is that I happen to be his great granddaughter. And I, being an angel hunter can guide anyone into my great grandfather's lair very easily."

"Well then how about you do us all a favor and tell us who the killer is and while you're at it you could help us solve many other cases by telling us all about the reservoir." Malefica uttered every single word slowly and in a threatening tone almost.

"And why would I do that? What's in it for me?"

"You do know what will happen if we report to the council that we have found angel hunter, don't you?" I was surprised that Angelo had been the one to say this. Emily just smiled creepily at him and said.

"They'll try to get answers from me by force and when they fail they'll kill me. By that process you'll be the ones who lose, not me. As far as I know you need me and not vice versa."

There was a moment of silence where all of us were staring at Emily and we didn't know what to do. But what happened next was totally unexpected. Emily fell to the floor and burst in tears.

"It's just you don't understand how it feels like to be lonely. No one wants to be friends with someone who was killed by her pedophile dad. My mum is ashamed of me and my sister is scared of me. I don't have anyone in this world. And then h-he came in out of nowhere and took me in and offered sympathy and love, and for the first time in my life I felt special to someone. When I found out Adam wanted to kill you I was hesitant to help him at first but then...but then I got jealous of you, you had everything you were smart, funny, the teachers loved you, your friends your parents. You had everything I've always wanted. I got blinded by jealousy and..and I'm so sorry Amanda."

Her voice cracked in the end and she started full-on crying. I didn't know what to do so I dropped to my knees as well and hugged her. It wasn't the best scene you could imagine but I just thought I'd feel compassion to this lonely girl.

After her meltdown Malefica asked her.

"So Adam's our killer? And you guided him to your great grandfather's reservoir."

"Yes" Emily said while wiping her eyes. "Amanda I know what I did was awful, and I'm sure Adam will deny what he did so I'll help guide you through The Clouds of Oblivion so you could prove him guilty..."

"That's good for a start but this won't make us forgive you for your mistake. You will suffer the consequences but for now we'll let you be" Angelo said not even looking at her.

"Amanda it's time to go" Malefica said tugging my arm before continuing "Be ready tomorrow"

Emily just nodded, and soon we were transported back to my room.

Emily's P.O.V.

Pff amateurs, I can't believe they actually bought my act.

"That was quite a show you put out there." I was startled by his voice. He was wearing a black hood that covered him entirely. He was barely visible all I could see were his piercing eyes.

"You were there?"

"Of course, and may I say you managed to do exactly what I told you this time, well done." He said in an almost mocking way while clapping slowly.

"Are you being sarcastic?"

"I'm always sarcastic. I thought you would've gotten used to it by now"

I got up and went closer to him and batted my eyelashes in a seducing way.

"Well I did but you know what I haven't gotten used to yet? Your irresistible-ness"

He didn't move but somehow he got me to stop moving. Great now he was using his powers on me. I sighed.

"First of all that's not even a word. Second off all don't you ever attempt to seduce me."

"Oh come on ever since you killed that girl you haven't touched me. You haven't gotten close to me at all. I love you don't you know that."

"I told you that I am not one for commitments. I never told you to fall in love with me." He said coldly, shattering my heart in the process.

"Why must you be so cruel?" I said as I dropped to me knees.

He approached me and knelt down to be on the same level as me. He lifted his hand to caress my cheek and then rested his index finger below my chin and raised my head for me to look in to his eyes.

"Emily, there's one thing you should know about me. When I want something I get it and when I get tired of it... I let it go." He said as he removed his finger from below my chin and pushed me back lightly to emphasis on the 'let it go' part. He stood up and fixed his posture and prepared to leave. He turned his head before he said his last words to me.

"You're gonna guide them to The Clouds of Oblivion tomorrow and make it look like Adam did the whole thing, and if you don't let's just say you and me will be done for good." And with that he disappeared. I hate it when he does that he knows how much I love him and he keeps threatening me with our well 'relationship'

I didn't want to lose him, so I started thinking of a way to blame the entire thing on Adam. It will be hard. Especially that those 2 guardians were around and they already doubt me. Poor innocent Amanda, she has a good heart I can't believe she actually hugged me. Poor soul...She has no idea what I've got planned for tomorrow.

[A/N]: Yayyy triple update. Three days in a row I'm a walking typing writing machine BOOM...or a unicorn with a magical machine that can type everything I say in a minute...Hmm you never know.

So Emily is a total bech W.O.W. no surprise there. What will happen in The Clouds of Oblivion? Will Emily betray her lover? Will Angelo kill Emily? Will Cordelia not be able to join them? Will the author kill someone? Tune in for the next chapter of A TWIST OF FATE
