Chapter seven: fight night

Scarlet awoke looking down below seeing nobody. She jumped from the tree waiting, listening for the breathing of the pirates who were looking for her. She heard a noise behind her thinking quickly she turned and punched whoever it was in the face looking down she saw.
"Jack!" she says surprised he looks at her with a bloody nose.
"Aye love" he says as the Crimson liquid pours through his fingers as he smiles a little at her.
"Idiota" she says "well are you getting me out of here or what?" Jack looked at her and sighed.
"We're marooned love" he explained to her.
"We?" Scarlet asked inquisitively. Jack gestured for her to follow him to the beach where there was a girl with long blonde hair. Scarlet looked at her wondering who she was. A slight burning in her chest as she looked at this woman. Who does she think she is?! I mean she's not even wearing a corset around my jack! Scarlet thought the fires of jealousy rising inside of her. She watched this other woman speak to jack. She sat under a tree seeing a boat in the distance large white sails catching her eye. She stood up walking towards the edge of the beach seeing that it was a naval vessel she waves her arms getting the attention.
She is grabbed her arms tightly held behind her.
"Ouch!" She says loudly as she's roughly held back "let go of me!" She commands. The man chuckles behind her.
"The commodore wouldn't be too pleased with us if we let a criminal go now would he?" The man says. Scarlet mutters to herself as she is thrown aboard the ship her hands bound tightly with rope. She is immediately helped to her feet by Jack.
Jack glared at the men, how dare they hurt this lovely girl! Especially when she had done nothing wrong. He held her close before saying "commodore please remove the ropes from her hands" he says. The commodore smirks coldly "why would I remove the ropes on a gypsy like her?" He says "it's fitting she should know to not break the laws set by proper humans" he said the last part with his face inches from her own as she tried hard not to spit in his face she glared at him.
"There is nothing human about a man that's let's children starve!" She says loudly. There's a cry of pain and a loud slap as Scarlet grabs her face she glares at the man in front of her.
Jack had to physically bite his tongue as to not knock the commodore unconscious, what kind of man would hit a woman?. He stood protectively behind Scarlet shielding her from the commodore.
"Commodore, please, don't hit her" the blonde, Elizabeth, says "she is purely a victim of circumstance". The commodore looks at her with a slight frown.
"Fine" he mutters "I won't hurt her" he turns towards Jack "he will"
Scarlet watched them speaking, she quickly began to untie the ropes.
"You know commodore" she says "I could help you find those pirates" she puts her hands on her hips "but you'd have to promise me my freedom"
"And why would I do that?" The commodore asked
"Because I'm doing the dirty work for you" scarlet answers, the commodore begins walking towards her, she begins walking backwards until she is pressed against Jack. The commodore brings his face close to hers.
"If you mess this up I will not hesitate to kill you"
Scarlet glares at the man "pinche baboso" she mutters as he walks away.
Jack watched her as she began walking towards the front of the boat. He followed her closely.
"Scarlet" he says softly "he didn't hurt you too badly did he?"
"He couldn't hurt me if he tried" scarlet says hiding her pain, that man hurt her badly.
"Are you sure?" Jack asks worried.
"Yes" scarlet says "anyway we should get some rest we have a big fight coming up"
