Chapter 6

They had found a way. In Erens basement were notes that spoke of the source of all Titans. If we would find a way to destroy it we would finally be able to escape this horror. Only the Titans left on earth would be left to kill.
So the Mission had been a sucess, if you overlook the 50 deaths (including Nates) and the 60 people gone missing (including Reiner and Berthold).

Jean and Mikasa told me all of this, while I was lying in my bed. Refusing to eat. Refusing to drink. Refusing to do anything. Nate had been everything to me. My big brother. My little brother. My family. My home. My opposite. My other half.
My twin.
I just sat there all day, staring at his still bloodcovered necklace.
Why him ?
Why not me ?
Why had he left me alone ?
Was it my fault ? No. I was miles away.
Was it Mikasas or Sashas ? No. They were busy with keeping themselves alive.I couldn't blame them for it.
Whos fault was this ?
The door opened. I saw Eren coming in. Great. So today it would be he that would try to make me eat something.
"Hey, Karen..."
"Eren" I hadn't spoke for days. My voice sounded horrible.
Eren looked surprised and yet happy that I finally began to talk again. "What is it ?"
"Eren, whose fault is this ?" I rose the hand with the necklace. He looked at my face.
"The Titans, Karen."
I noded.
"Do you want to eat ?"
"No."
"Karen you have to..."
"I SAID NO !"
"You know what Mikasa once did when I refused to eat ? After my mother died ?"
"I don't care."
"She forced me to."
"I don't care."
"Karen..."
"I DO NOT FUCKING CARE EREN ! DAMM IT ! JUST LEAVE ME ! LEAVE ME ALONE !"
As soon as he had left the room, I started crying again.
