Once I've calmed down Kellin asks "Do you think you can get past the guys without crying?"
I nod "I have a lot of experience when it comes to fake smiling, it'll be no problem for me. Just give me a minute." I pull away Kellin nods. I wipe my eyes with my sleeves, slap my cheeks lightly, run a hand through my hair and smile widely. "Ok, let's go! I got this." Me and Kellin walk back through the main area of the bus to the door.
Kellin smiles at the guys "Me and Jenny are just gonna go out for some fresh air, we'll be back in a bit!"
I smile fakely at them "Don't worry, we're not gonna fuck!" I stick my tongue out at them, they laugh and wave us off. Me and Kellin leave the bus, my false happiness leaves me and I'm depressed inside and out.
Kellin wraps an arm around my shoulder. "C'mon, follow me." He leads me into a small, empty park. He slides down a tree trunk and sits on the floor, patting the space beside him. I slump down next to him and we're silent for a few moments. Then the tears start to fall again. Kellin notices and gasps "What can I do!?!"
I'm unable to speak, because I'm crying. So I just look at him and hold my arms up at him. He nods, understanding instantly, and wraps his arms around me. I cry into him. "It's alright Jenny, let it out, everything's going to be ok, I promise you, I'm here, I won't let anyone hurt you, shhh, its alright." He says over and over again trying to comfort me. And strangely...it works! I'm soon just gripping Kellins hoodie and sniffling. "Feeling better now?" Kellin asks softly.
I nod "Thank you Kellin, you're amazing."
He smiles down at me "Did you wanna talk about it?"
I shake my head "I will tell you, its not that I don't trust you, I just don't enjoy talking about it."
Kellin nods "Its fine, I understand, don't worry."
Then I remember something "Kels?"
He smiles at me "Yeah?"
"Why did you look like you were nearly crying when Justin asked me to go to the store with him?" I ask curiously.
Kellin sighs "I was hoping you'd forgotten about that..."
I raise an eyebrow "Well I haven't, so spill it."
"Remember when I admitted that I thought you preferred Justin over me?" He asks, I nod, he continues "Well it was just...I felt like...I wasn't getting any time with you, and Justin was getting so much, I guess...I kind of felt neglected...its stupid, I know." He shakes his head and laughs slightly.
I giggle and shake my head "Y'know you're the cutest thing on the planet, right? Seriously! You get all sad over me spending time with Justin, I'm honestly honoured. Its not stupid at all dude, I get it. But you need to understand, I'm a huge fan of the entire band, so I want to spend time with them too. Even if I spent hours with them, it doesn't me I like you any less or them any more than I like you. You don't need to worry yourself about that Kels, you're always gonna be my favourite, no matter what." I explain, smiling at him.
Kellin blushes "Thank you Jenny, for being so fucking awesome and such a good friend to me."
I wink "No problem man!" We sit there in comfortable silence for a few seconds. I snuggle into his hoodie and sigh. "Y'know...at work I defend your genitals on a daily basis?"
He bursts out laughing "Really!?!"
I nod "Yeah! There's this guy, Robert, who is ALWAYS dissing you! He doesnt hate you or anything, he just does it to piss me off and have sass wars with him. And, for some unknown reason, he enjoys dissing your genitals more than anything else! I am literally defending you and your genitals all the time."
Kellin laughs "WOW! Well, I guess I'll just have to show Robert."
My jaw drops "Are you gonna streak in front of him!?! If so I will GLADLY be the one to hold him in place and make sure he looks, I am not missing that opportunity!"
He laughs louder "You WANT to see me naked?"
I nod "Well I wouldn't MIND!"
Kellin shakes his head and continues laughing "You're fucking awesome Jenny! Do you wanna head back to the bus now?"
I nod and stand up, wiping my ass off "Sure! Do I have grass on my ass?" I ask, lifting my shirt slightly so Kellin can see my denim covered ass.
Kellin shakes his head and blushes "N-No."
I giggle "Why are you blushing? I know I have a beautiful ass, but damn!" I wink at him "I'll race ya to the bus! 3...2...1...GO GO GO!!!" And Km sprinting towards the bus before Kellin is even standing up.
