14 - Reunited At Last

So the guys all persuaded me to go back into law. It took some persuading, trust me! But, after much consideration (and cake related offers...) I realized that law was my thing, its what I do best. Me and Kellin are officially dating now. I just finished a court case with one of my clients, I won thankfully. I'm running out of the court house now, down the steps, towards the loud tour bus. I say loud because Justin is driving and he's honking the horn like there's no tomorrow. The door to the bus swings open and I leap inside, straight into Kellins arms. He gives me a soft kiss. "Did you win baby?"
I nod and smile widely up at him "Yep!"
He smiles "Great job baby!"
I giggle "I'm gonna go get changed, I've gotta make a good impression!" Then I run to the back of the bus, stripping out of my formal trouser suit, setting my hair free, and changing into an SWS shirt and some black skinny jeans. I brush my hair and return to the main area of the bus.
Kellin smiles at me "You look beautiful baby!"
I flop down on the couch and take his hand in mine "Thank you! Are you excited?"
Kellin nods frantically as we speed down the road "Definitely!"
"Nervous?" I ask curiously.
Kellin nods again "Yeah!"
I squeeze his hand "Awh Kels! Don't be! It's gonna go great! I bet she's missed you like crazy!"
"You think so?" Kellin smiles at me.
I nod "I know so! I couldn't talk to you for two days and I was having withdrawal symptoms!"
Kellin laughs and kisses me sweetly "I love you so much!"
"I love you so much too Kels!" I say cheesily.
"WE'RE HERE!!!" Justin shouts.
Kellin takes a deep breath and stands up, squeezing my hand tightly as we leave the bus. He takes in the sight of the house, its been a long time since he's seen this place, she kicked him out, he's living with me now. I pull him towards the door and he knocks with a shaking hand. The door opens and Katelynne stands there, she smiles politely before turning around. "THEY'RE HERE!!!" She shouts. All we hear is a high pitched squeal and then a little girl in a princess costume comes running down the stairs. Kellins eyes fill with tears as he crouches down, opening his arms for her.
"DADDY!!!" Copeland shouts as she runs into her father's arms. He picks her up and kisses every inch of her face, making her giggle.
"Hey princess!" He cheers.
"Hey Daddy! I missed you!" She kisses his cheek.
His smile widens "I missed you too honey!" He turns to Katelynne "Say goodbye to your mommy!"
Copeland waves and smiles at Katelynne "Bye bye Mommy!"
Katelynne waves "Bye sweetheart!" Then she shuts the door, we start walking towards the bus.
"Now Coco, this lady here is my girlfriend." He smiles at me.
"Hi Copeland! I'm Jenny!" I smile at her.
She smiles back at me "Hi Jenny!"
"Jenny is the reason you're here now. If it wasn't for Jenny, you'd never see me again!" Kellin explains.
Copeland gasps and turns to me, she holds her arms out to me. Kellin passes her to me and she hugs me "Thank you so much!" She says into my hair.
I smile as rub her back "Awh, its no problem Copeland! Can I just say you look very pretty in your princess costume!" I say, winking at her.
She giggles "Thank you!" Then we reach the bus, I smile at Gabe.
"Dude...remember when you gave me your bunk?" He nods "And now I'm sharing with Kellin..." He nods again "And you said you prefer the couch..." He nods "Well Copeland is having your bunk now."
He gasps "Dammit!" I giggle and put Copeland down, she holds onto my hand.
"Do you want me to show you around the bus?" I ask her. She nods and smiles up at me, she's so adorable! I walk her around, showing her where her bed is and where me and Kellin sleep, where the bathroom is and everything else. She's gonna get so much attention while she's with us, its gonna be great!
