"Woah....who's that?"
"I think that's Housewarden's Alice."
"Housewarden has never had an Alice before has he?"
"Isn't that the Ignihyde kid who summoned a wyvern familiar?"
"Damn he's tall."
Allen expected this. Really. The outfit he was wearing was made to stand out. But couldn't these people at least try to make it less obvious that they were staring? To maintain decency? Apparently not.
Ace snickered at Allen's expense, much to Allen's chagrin.

"Make way for the Crimson Ruler! Housewarden Rosehearts!" A Heartslabyul student announced. The rest of Heartslabyul cheered in response, but their cheering covered up the slight fear they had for Riddle. Allen almost felt bad for the students, but they weren't really his problem.
"The roses are red, the table cloths are white. A perfect Unbirthday party." Riddle inspected each tiny detail, as if one being out of place could throw the whole thing into chaos.
Allen tuned out a lot of the stuff, it seemed too uptight. Riddle didn't seem like this when they were in class. The shorter boy always had a certain shine to him when they conversed in Practical Magic or when they worked on assignments together. Allen looked at Riddle—really looked at him—and saw a slightly pained expression on Riddle's face. It was almost as if Riddle didn't want to be doing any of this.
I still don't like this guy
"Allen," Riddle called, snapping Allen out of his daze, "come join me." Riddle pointed to the seat that was right next to his. Riddle's chair was bigger, fitting for a Housewarden, and Allen's chair—though smaller—also had regal patterns, but was blue instead of red. An oddity among the sea of red in the dorm.
"This is my esteemed guest, this Unbirthday Party's Alice. I expect all of you to treat him with the same respect as you do me!" This time Riddle spoke to the rest of Heartslabyul. Allen's eyes widened a little at that announcement as he sat down in the chair Riddle intended for him.
"Yes, Housewarden!" The rest of Heartslabyul chanted in unison.
"The outfit looks good on you Allen," Riddle smiled.
"Thank you Riddle. I hope you don't mind, but I brought my familiar, Chara." Upon mention, Chara popped up onto Allen's lap. Riddle nodded, "That's fine, she doesn't break any rules as she's not a cat. Cats aren't allowed at formal events." Allen sipped some of the tea one of the Heartslabyul students poured out for him. It was warm, and tasted quite nice, with an aromatic smell.
The Heartslabyul students around them started to whisper a little.
"I don't think I've ever seen Housewarden smile like that."
"Are they referring to each other without honorifics? On a first name basis too? Who is this kid?"
Riddle seemed a little irritated by the whispers, and realizing that they were still in his presence, the Heartslabyul students smartly shut up.

"Uh Housewarden Rosehearts?" Ace stepped up to the table Allen and Riddle were at, holding a box.
