Things had become a little more normal at NRC now that Heartslabyul wasn't a sea of collars. And people didn't bother Allen as much anymore, given that it was the second month of school, finally October. But the Heartslabyul students were a little......weird around him, so to say.
They didn't try to pick fights with him. Or make fun of him that much.
But rather...they seemed happy to see him? Like they would joke around him, like he was their friend or sometimes (begrudgingly) help him out.
It's 'cause you brought Riddle out of his tyrant nonsense
They do seem to trust me more
I'm surprised Riddle hasn't made you transfer to Heartslabyul yet, you've been invited to so many Unbirthday Parties
I'm not gonna transfer, I'm staying in Ignihyde. Plus, Ortho is good company, he'd probably be a little disappointed if I leave
Ah yes, Allen had somehow gone and befriended the infamous robot humanoid of Ignihyde. It all started when Allen returned from the Unbirthday do-over.

"Allen Zilck!
Allen spun around to come face to face with bright golden eyes and short fiery hair.
"Ortho, do you need something?" Allen had just come back from Heartslabyul and though he wasn't physically exhausted, because nothing much can physically exhaust him, his social battery was dangerously low. If he had to have another interaction with a person, he was going to cry.
"I have finished analyzing the Heartslabyul book you gave to me, so I'm giving it back!" Ortho handed the smaller booklet Allen gave him a couple days ago. "I've been notified that Riddle Rosehearts overblotted and you were one of the people who fought him off. You didn't come in contact with the blot did you?"
Allen was about to shake his head and then thought for a minute, "I mean, I did smash the overblot monster's head, but I didn't really get injured."
Ortho stared at him, "Overblot monster heads contain a large amount of blot inside them."
"I know, I saw it. It was kind of icky."
".....Running a diagnostic check on Allen Zilck and pulling up his infirmary records," Ortho's eyes turned a weird color and some sort of red light scanned over Allen's body.
That's weird. Is that some sort of technology?
Why does he have access to your infirmary records, I thought those were confidential
"You seem to have been exposed to a decent amount of blot, but it doesn't seem like you've been affected much. How interesting! But your infirmary records say you had some injuries but you.....popped them back in place?" Ortho's eyes narrowed.
"Yeah I don't get why everyone seemed upset by that," Allen shrugged.
"Hmm, I'd love to run a couple experiments on you some time. Oh, wait! Perhaps you and my brother could become friends," Ortho clapped his hands together. Allen thought about that, running experiments. It's like what his family used to do on him. But being friends with his brother? Allen didn't even know who his brother was.
Allen looked down at Ortho's shining eyes and couldn't help but give him. It's not his fault he's weak to cute things!
I bet his brother is some lame guy
You haven't even him
"I wouldn't mind being your brother's friend, but I haven't met him yet so..." Allen's voice trailed off as he gave in to Ortho, maybe the conversation could end if he just went along with what he said.
