Awakened

New life

Kai pulled me along through the darkness. My head was starting to hurt from thinking too hard.

Finally, I was dragged into a room. A light was switched on filling the room with dim yellow. A small sleeping area was set up, a black bed frame with red sheets and pillows took up the middle of what I assumed to be a bedroom. A pile of clothes were thrown to a corner, girls clothing. Not much else was in the room. A bedside table and a mirror were the only other things in the room. The mirror stood in a corner, showing my horrifying appearance.

"This will be your room for now," Kai said to me, but his voice sounded far away as I stared at myself. My skin was deathly pale, my eyes had slit pupils and were as red as the blood lining my mouth. I had fangs, but not what I assumed vampires would have. I had four sharp teeth in my top row of teeth and four on my bottom. I snapped my jaw hearing my teeth click against each other. My hair was as black as midnight running down my back in soft waves. I was beautiful, in a dark way. My clothes ruined the image thought.

"You can change if you want." Kai's voice brought me back from my daze. He gestured to the clothes impatiently.

"Okay."

He walked out of the room and closed the black velvety curtain that I guessed was supposed to be a door.

I changed quickly. I guess black would make blood less noticeable. Maybe that's why Kai wore so much black. All of the clothes in the pile were black. Such a contrast from my light clothing that had been peeled off and thrown on the floor in a crumpled ball. Won't be needing those anymore. 

Black jeans. Black tank top. Black combat boots. Black leather jacket... Even my socks were black. I sighed. For some reason, I wasn't fond with all the black. Maybe an emotion from my previous life? I didn't think too much about it. But I had to say, these clothes made me look badass. I smiled in the mirror.

Maybe I could get used to this.

I know I know. Been a while. Short chapter. I have had a few issues with the book. I lost my notebook which contained the entire novel. Fun. So now I'm winging it. Maybe it will turn up... Because if it does, I can update much more. I decided to continue this novel after people seemed to like it. I hope you enjoyed this probably three page chapter. Vote, comment, follow. I will be back.
