She flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder and slouched her head on her fist. Her eyes were going back and forth between pages in the book in front of her. The corners of her lips turned up every so often, her head would shake from holding in laughter.
I looked between her and my book every now and again, so I didn't seem weird.
I know I was being weird. I have seen her every day since the beginning of the year. Four years straight, I have seen her in at least one of my classes. This year, she is in practically all of them.
I have said maybe five words to her throughout the years. She barely knows my name, I barely know hers. I just know she's much more beautiful than most of the girls at this school. She has something about her that I can't see in other girls. Maybe it's because I can't see her ass, unlike the other girls.
The bell rang, signalling us that class was over. She looked up and frowned, just like every other day, and closed her book. Our instructor began telling us what we had to do as homework.
I looked back at her and saw that she wasn't in the same spot anymore. Her table was cleaned up and all of her belongings were gone. I shoved my book in my bag and left the classroom.
My friends came behind me and cheered me on about the recent football game and the last goal I scored. They started bantering about how much better they are than the other.
I ditched them and walked to my locker, where I know I'll see her. She is five lockers away from me. I set my bag at the bottom and grabbed my duffel bag full of gym clothes and safety wear.
I moved slowly, purposely stalling so I'd at least see her as the day ends. I waited and waited, until I couldn't wait anymore. I shut my locker and turned around, looking back once more, before moving on. I started jogging to the gym and looked back again.
"Ah!" I heard before crashing into another person. We both fell to the ground and papers were spread everywhere. I looked up and saw her. The bright blue eyes, the golden blonde hair, the smooth skin, the red lips, all of it hit me at once.
"I'm so sorry." She stammered to collect her things. "I didn't see you, I wasn't paying attention. I'm so sorry." She shook her head. I was too surprised to help her collect her things or say anything back to her.
She apologized once more and then hurried away from me. I caught my breath and stood up, picking up the shoes and clothes that fell out of my bag.
She was so breathtaking in person and her voice was soft. She was better than I ever imagined.
