"Hey Taylor!" Macy, a friend from work, yelled as Taylor walked through the door of a small cafe that she's worked at for the past two years. "Have you heard the news?" Macy asked.

"What news?" Taylor asked her, setting her stuff in the back. Macy began to explain her dramatic on again off again relationship with "this guy" she calls him. Taylor grabbed her apron from the hook above the garbage can and wrapped it around her waist.

"So this guy comes over last night and throws me against the wall and I yell at him because that hurt but then he- good morning Mr. Fisher!" Macy taps Taylor's arm as their boss approaches them.

"Good morning, sir." Taylor nods her head once.

"Taylor, please come with me." He said with a frown. Taylor nodded her head and walked around the counter and out, following behind Mr. Fisher. "Taylor, you know that I am a big fan of your work," he speaks as they walk down the hallway to his office.

"Sure," Taylor nodded her head. Her heart started beating faster than normal. Am I getting fired?! She thought to herself. She started twirling a small piece of her hair around her finger as they entered his office. He shut the door behind her and invited her to sit in any chair.

"I'm so-"

"Wait! please don't fire me, you have no idea how close I am to reaching my goal. Please, mr. Fisher, I'll take on more hours and I'll stay later, please don't fire me." Taylor begged, something she hated doing. She started crying uncontrollably, feeling confused and hurt, "I'm sorry for begging, it's just that I'm so close to losing everything and I can't lose my job, it's the only thing that keeps me from laying in bed all day and crying."

"Taylor," Mr. Fisher combed through his thick blonde hair, styled in a Christian Grey type of du, "you're too talented to be working in a small cafe." He sighed. Taylor wiped her tears and prepared herself for what was coming. "You've got talent, girl. You could be working in Pete's Coffee or something, maybe Starbucks if you got your act together." H chuckled. Taylor laughed as well and stood up.

"I understand," she nodded her head, not looking him in the eyes. "Thank you Mr. Fisher, I really appreciate the experience." She nodded once more and walked for the door.

She cleaned out her locker and took off her apron, all while Macy went on about she's gonna miss her so much and how it will never be the same without Taylor there. Taylor waved goodbye and got into her car, trying to hold back tears as she drove home.

When Taylor got home, she felt even more upset with how she left things with Harry. Part of what she said was true but, she never meant to say it.
