Taylor sat down at the table, scrolling through her phone. Harry was sitting across from her on his phone as well, while Taylor's mom was making breakfast.
"There's an apartment on J and 12th?" Harry said. For the past couple of months, Harry and Taylor have been talking about moving out of their parents house and into an apartment together.
Harry was looking, Taylor had forgotten about it considering her mood and feelings towards Harry.
They hadn't spoken of that night and planned to forget about it. They managed to move around the awkwardness by fighting and trying to hold dry conversations. Harry wasn't ready to possibly lose his best friend and Taylor couldn't quite put into words how she felt. She didn't even know.
"I still like the one by Andies," Taylor said, nicely declining the offer.
"Yeah I know, this was just a suggestion." he rolled his eyes and looked back at his phone.
"And I was just voicing my opinion." Taylor said equally harsh.
"You're not voicing an opinion, you're just being a bitch."
"You're being a dick." Taylor said a little too loud, catching Andrea's attention. She turned around and looked at the two, feeling overly annoyed with how much they have been fighting.
"Alright," Andrea intervened. "You two aren't going to school today, you're staying home and working on your problems." She glared at them.
"Mom, I have a presentation I can't miss out on."
"Of course," Harry muttered, "anything to avoid me."
"Do you ever shut the hell up?!" Taylor was annoyed.
"Taylor Alison!" Andrea swatted her daughter on the shoulder.
"Are you kidding me?! He started it! Why aren't you smacking him?" Taylor whined.
"Because I don't deserve it." Harry yelled.
"You deserve to get hit by a bus!" Taylor screamed back.
"YOU!"
"Real mature!"
"Youre the one whos mad at me for no reason! Is it time for your period or something, god!"
"Youre such a dick, i wish we were never friends."
"ENOUGH!" Andrea yelled over them. Taylor was fuming mad, while harry felt his stomach do flips. Does she really mean that? All this time, being friends and she wishes it all away? Harry couldnt stop questioning what taylor meant.
Andrea left them inside the house, after taking their phones and car keys.
"You really mean that?" Harry asked after it was quiet for longer than he liked.
"Yeah." Taylor glared at him.
"Fine!" Harry yelled, feeling guilty. He knows that it was his fault that they have drifted. But he really didn't think that they were drifting.
"Okay." Taylor shrugged her shoulders and left the room.
"You know, I don't get why you're so mad at me! I've only ever treated you like a queen and tried to make you the happiest person!" Harry yelled after Taylor.
She disappeared into her room to grab her bag and car keys, while Harry kept yelling to her. When she came back downstairs, Harry was boiling red. He waited for her to respond so his anger was justified.
She just adjusted the strap of her bag and walked towards the door.
