Selene opened her eyes, shaking the blanket off. Because of the drugs, things are fragmented. She stares at the ceiling, wondering if there's any use in struggling like this. Groaning, she doesn't bother trying to escape the bindings, just lays there.

Realistically, she knows it could take them a bit to find her. How many hours has she been missing? Two days maybe? Or somewhere close to it, at least. Selene stays staring into space on her back until she turns to face the door as it opens.

"Awe, morning sunshine." When Alex gets no response, he just shrugs. "If you wish to shower, you can."

"No way in hell are you bathing me. Bastard." Selene sits up, staring at the cuffs around her hands.

Alexander shrugs, looking at his doll. "I don't have to. What I needed finally arrived."

Selene backed up towards the wall as Alex took steps closer to her. "Stay away from me!" She kept her eyes narrowed at him as he got closer.

Alex sighed as he got on his knees in front of her. He took a box out of his pocket and opened it. "Pretty, isn't it?" His expression is as soft as a cloud, but his voice twisted into something crude and tainted with obsession.

Selene thought about making it difficult, but he'd have his way by the end. She hates the feeling of his hands moving her hair out of the way as he clasped the necklace around her neck. Part of it was a velvety choker. Dangling from it was a gold chain decorated with charms of stars and moons. If it had been a gift from anybody else, she'd have smiled and cherished it.

She wished it weren't from him.

He pulled out another box. This gift went around her wrist just above the cuffs. It was a simple bracelet with a moon engraved. "Your obsession with stars and moons is weird." She hissed through her teeth and then yanked away from him.

Alex rolled his eyes at her snarky remarks. "I believe there's something else you should say for such a gracious gift." He hums, but his eyes narrow and his lips pull tight.

Selene spat at him instead of thanking him. Before she could grin or act smugly, a sharp pain swallowed her throat and wrist. She yelped at the sudden excruciating pain that swallowed her.

"Look, I don't need handcuffs on you now! It's a little magic thing I bought on the black market." Alex pats her on the head as he stands. "So, we'll try again. I believe you owe me a proper response since you received such an expensive and pretty gift."

Biting the inside of her cheek, Selenetta sighed. "Thank you." She says the words, but clearly means nothing by them. Still, it seems to satisfy Alexander, who claps his hands together with a pleased smile.

Alex sets her wrists free from the bindings and motions towards the door. "Enjoy your little wing! You already saw the rooms. I did an excellent job catering to you, didn't I?"

"Rot in hell." Selene hisses as she walks out and finds her way to the shower.

Alexander frowns as he watches her leave. "We'll have to work on manners," he huffs.

With a small hum, he leaves her hall and heads downstairs. He enters his room and flips on a few scrying glasses. He's spared no expense on his doll.

Selene leans against the door, trying to calm herself. When she couldn't calm her racing heart, she slammed her hands against the wall. "Damn it..." She reaches for the clasp and clicks her tongue. "Course not. That would be too easy." She hates magic right now. She detests its utilization for such purposes as this monstrosity.

With a heavy sigh, she steps in front of the mirror. She cringes when she sees herself. At least that's what he did with her high. She would have allowed him to do anything in her loopy state. She shivers as she thinks about that.
