Confusion

Will

Will somehow managed to go back to sleep after the dream, if only for a short time, but when he woke up he just didn't feel right. It was like one of those knots you get in your stomach only in his head; it didn't hurt it was just a presence that he could constantly feel.

Will had woken up before everyone else after laying there trying, for what seemed like hours, trying to forget his dream he decided to wiggle out of Nico's arms and make breakfast for the team.

Will was looking for food mumbling to himself, "Food, Food, what is edible?" when he hears Leo scream from outside, "Wakey, wakey, breakfast is ready, come get your eggs and bakey."

Will almost jumped out of his skin, but managed to get up and go outside. When heading outside he couldn't help glaring at Leo, "Woah dude I know you just got up but the devil eyes really necessary?" Leo said.

Will stopped his glare and smiled, he didn't really like glaring anyways, "Oh sorry, I was just wondering when did you get up and where did you find eggs and bacon?" he said.

Leo averted his eyes to the ground, "Didn't sleep much, had a bad dream, and with my handy dandy tool belt I can cook up a lot. The eggs and bacon I brought along you don't want to know how I kept them fresh." Will examined him, confused, but also curious.

Piper ran out yawning, hair braided delicately to the side, and basically screamed, "Really I did too! It was really weird and creepy too," she stuttered for a second, it wasn't easy for demigods to talk about dreams, they usually have some sort of twisted meaning and aren't exactly joyful, "Jason sunk into the ground." I just stared at her, awe in my eyes, did we have the same dream just with different people,

Nico popping out of basically no where said, "I had a similar dream."

I spoke up and said, "Me too, what about you Leo?"

"Uh yeah I did, mine wasn't about Jason though, I like the man but I don't think I think about him enough to have dreams about him you know."

Nico sighed and went to set down in the grass where Leo had put the plates, "I don't think anyone but Piper had a dream about Jason. Anyway lets eat I'm starved." he said.

I walked over and sat down next to Nico, if the dream was bothering him he wasn't letting it show, that's what Will would do too.

After sitting down and examining the food Will was less than impressed the eggs looked like dog food, and the bacon looked like it was cooked a few minutes too long. No one said a word while eating, we all just stared at each other, probably all thinking the same thing, 'Did we all really have the same dream?'

After we all got done eating we just sat there looking at eachother, my thoughts had long since left, 'did we all dream the same thing, and I was now noticing that Calypso wasn't here, "Hey Leo where is Calypso at?" I asked.

Leo jumped and just stared and then Piper said, "Yeah where is she, I didn't see her go to sleep with us last night either.

Leo looked toward rising sun and said, "She left I don't know where, she wouldn't tell me."

"What! You can't be serious she wouldn't do that, would she?" Piper's asked.

"I don't know obviously she would... I think she had a good reason though." Leo didn't sound too sure.

"Well she's gone now that's all that matters." Nico said.

I looked at Nico with my, you could put it nicer eyes and said, "Nico..." sometimes he forgets that people can't just deal with everything.

"It's not like we can do anything, maybe she'll come back eventually." He was trying to make Leo feel better but I don't think it helped.

"I guess, so..." Leo didn't seem happy with that, "Well we've avoided it long enough let's talk about our dreams."

Our dreams, "Okay I'll go first." I said, I didn't really want to talk about mine but I guess it's better just to get out, "So basically I woke up in the tent, and heard Nico screaming I ran out to find him, but he was no where in sight I followed his screams as fast as I could, when I found him he was already sinking into the ground and I couldn't do anything about it, before he sank all the way into the ground he said something in a strange voice." I said it all so fast I was worried they didn't get it, I took a deep breath in and hoped for the best.

They were all looking at me with either aw, or fear I couldn't tell which one, "Well mine was basically the same except for Jason." Piper said.

Nico sighed and said, "Mine too only it was Will."

We all looked at Leo expectantly, "Well mine was about Calypso of course."

"So we all had the same dream with different people, definitely strange, but what does it mean."

Piper but her hand on her heart and said, "Well I think it's safe to assume each person had a dream about the person the care most for." Will couldn't help but notice Leo turn his eyes away, it probably meant nothing.

It was true Will didn't care about anyone more than Nico, and he was fairly positive Nico felt the same, "What about what they said?" I remembered.

"Oh yeah that's right did they all say the samething?" Piper asked.

Nico spoke up, "Well in my dream Will said, 'a boy is born danger lurks in the mist' for some reason I can't get the words out of my head." we all paused, and looked at each other, scared to say anything, "What?" Nico said annoyed.

"They didn't say the same in my dream..." Leo paused, "Calypso said, 'a cord cut will sever the life.' and it's the same for me I can't get the words out of my head."

Piper looked at Leo, then me, "Jason said, 'light will heal but her darkness will kill' what about you Will what did Nico say?" she asked.

"He said, 'Death had been cheated once, life given to something that should not be, someone must pay the price'" I said.

"What does all of it mean." Piper questioned.

"I don't know maybe it doesn't have any meaning it's just a dream." Leo suggested.

Nico rolled his eyes, "You know as well as I do dreams always have meaning for demigods, but it's not like any of us are a child of Athena, we aren't going to figure this out quickly."

"I agree with Nico, let's all just go take a breather and think about things, I'm going to go check on Festus." I got up and started to walk toward the tent.

"Yeah good idea we should all go do something, preferably useful." Piper said looking at Leo.

As I was walking toward the tent I was looking at my feet thinking about all the routine checks I needed to do on Festus, when I rounded the opening of the tent I bumped into Festus, "Sorry Festus." I walked around him and started to gather my supplies, "Wait Festus you're awake?" I screamed eyes wide.

"Yeah I guess so." Was his only reply.
