My Hero: Chapter 5

It had been a week since Sara had died. Matty sat in his room sulking. It wasn't enough time... He thought. We were barely even a couple yet...why would that octoling so such a terrible deed? I'll never stop missing you Sara..Along with Sara, 14 other inklings had died in what people nicknamed "The Octoling Massacre." Matty decided that it was time to stop. "This wasn't what she would have wanted... I gotta stop sitting around in my room all day talking to myself... Sitting here isn't helping with the problem at hand." So, with that being said, he finally went out into Inkopolis again. "Maybe a turf war will help me find someone to kill those Octavian bastards.." Matty growled under his breath as he walked in the turf war arena. The stage was the Saltspray Rig, and it was his team purple against team green. Glancing to see his competitors, he was appalled to see that they were using some of the best weapons!! His team consisted of all boys, himself and another with an Aerospray, and one with a roller. He then peeked behind him and saw her, a very serious looking girl with a charger. Besides himself, he only had faith in her to help out... The battle began and both teams were off! As his team advanced, Matty noticed the sniper had immediately made her way to high ground. She was killing enemies left and right! Matty could tell that he (and his other team members) were amazed by her skills. With the help of her, their team won the match! Judd had called purple the champion, winning 82%-19%! At the end of the match, Matty spotted her walking towards the shop. "Hey, wait up!" He called out to her. "Me? Oh hey! Nice job in battle." "And yourself! I was wondering if you could help me out with something actually...." After explaining everything that happened with Sara, she spoke. "Oh Matty....that's terrible. I had no idea... Of course I'll help you stop them!" Matty smiled for the first time in what seemed to be an eternity. "Ruby, thank you! You're such a great friend!!" "Anytime buddy :)" With the help of his newfound friend, Matty would stop the octoling at any costs.
