My Hero: Chapter 2

After the battle ended, Judd came out to give the final results. It was a close call but the winner was.....Pink Team! Matty high-fives his teammates as they jumped for joy! "Great...." Sara thought in her head, "Way to start off the day, with a lose..." As everyone left the arena, Sara decided to stay and see if she could find a good strategy. After about 10 minutes of exploring, she thought of a great plan to attack the enemy team! As she practiced her attack, she was shocked to feel someone tap on her shoulder. "AHH! YOU SCARED ME!" Sara screamed as she slapped Matty on his arm. "Sorry!" Matty said blushing. " I just wanted to make sure you were okay..." He wanted to make sure....I was okay? That's actually very swe- "You know, after losing your first match and stuff." He continued on. Oh. Maybe not... Sara thought. "I was just seeing if there were any good ways to attack and stuff...I'm fine. Oh! And thanks for before..." "My pleasure, anything to help out a newbie!" Matty said as he playfully bumped into Sara. She giggled, "Do you think you could help me practice sometime? You're much better at this than I am.." Matty agreed to help her and the two inklings walked out of the arena. "Hey, how about I give you a tour of Inkopolis?" Is he just trying to spend more time with me? I really wouldn't mind that... "Sure! I'd lo-like that. I'd like that..." The two went to all the stores and buildings, met most of the city's residents, even visited the famous squid sisters! Eventually, day turned to dusk and it was time to go home. Matty walked Sara back to her apartment. "I had a great time tonight Matty, thank you!" "Anytime! But you owe me one for that save in the battle!" "Alright, I'll pay you back eventually, haha." "Well, good night Sara.." Matty hugged her, and Sara closed her eyes, enjoying the warm soft feeling of his embrace. Matty really liked Sara, but felt that a hug was the right thing to do. It was way to early to kiss her, but he knew he loved her. She was the perfect girl for him. Both returned home and settled into bed with sweet dreams...
