Hello, my beautiful people! I hope you all are doing well and are as excited as I am about this next chapter. Now, there will be drama, death, and birthday cake, though I must warn you that I am a unorthodox writer. Perhaps this chapter will not turn out how you may have hoped, perhaps it will. I've decided not to put in gore warnings for those of you who may have fragile eyes, so I apologize for that, but I'm sure you'll get over it. Also, I have realized that I haven't been putting dates in, so that will start in this chapter. Kisses! ~TOAOEB

*Two Days Later, July 20th*
*Maysen's POV*
I sit in our cell block, my eyes looking over our special guest for the thousandth time. On the 18th, the day he arrived, he gave my council and I a story about how the Bloodwind pack would once again attack. Of course they were suppose to attack yesterday and it never happened. Doc confirmed my suspicions of something being wrong for he felt as if this was a trick, saying that I should probably keep an eye on him for the rest of the day.
So now he sits across of me, looking as bored as ever.
"You brought this upon yourself." I say once again.
"I legitimately thought that they were going to attack yesterday, Alpha. Alpha Nicholas specifically said the 19th was the day that Moonbeam would go down in flames, to be left only as a pile of ashes and a reminder to others."
His words make my ears ring and my gut sink. Alpha John really messed up by taking out their past Alpha, leaving a mess that I would need to clean up. Pinching the bridge of my nose, my voice comes out cold,
"Tell me the story again."
"Early morning on the 18th, Alpha Nicholas calls me down to his office on business. Once I get down there, he already begins speaking. He says that on the night of the 19th, they would attack Moonbeam and finally take them out for good; no survivors. After he told me so, I said I was going to go for a run and ran here. After he exiled his mother, he became cold and black-hearted and he is mate less still at the age of 24. I fear for my best friend because he doesn't act like himself, like he's messed up in the head as his mother was."
Finishing talking, he runs a hand over his face, his hair a mess. I must confess that he looked good, but my wolf agrees with a guilty ring to her voice. Again with this, she is still hung up on our mate, but she must realize that he's dead and that I won't die alone; they wouldn't want us to be miserable for the rest of our lives. I simply nod, trying to nurse my throbbing skull.
Hours of his banter attempts later, we still sit in the same places. He really is a joker and he got me to smile once at some story of him as a pup, the day he went out for his first run with his wolf. Apparently he went out into the woods and kept tripping over his feet, so he was cursing out his wolf and wasn't paying any attention to where he was going and ran right into a tree at full speed. He was laughing through the whole story and he just had one of those contagious laughs, so naturally, I laughed as well.
"Bloody hell!" he suddenly yells in a terrible British accent, making me jump.
"What?" I growl, my headache returning, being even worse than the last time.
"Don't you have like, board games or something? Maybe some coloring pages? Hell, I would even play Sudoku because I am so. Damn. Bored! I don't even know how to play! I only like drawing funny faces in the boxes!" he exclaims, his eyes bright with energy.
"Nope." I say, popping the "p", "That's what happens when you lie to an Alpha, but we have been in here for a while. Wanna go for a walk?"
He jumps up excitedly, gripping the bars of his cell.
