*Chapter 5*

"What?"

"Kyle, he called. He's going to stop by tomorrow morning so try and get up a little earlier than twelve."

I stood there, shocked.

"Oh, okay." Is all I said.

I ran up the stairs and into my room, I sat by my window looking at the night sky and thinking.

Kyle.

*Flashback*

"Hey, babe?" My boyfriend, Kyle said getting my attention. We were sitting on a bench in the park, staring at the sunset.

"Yeah?" I said.

"So, you know how my family has been thinking about moving to Wisconsin?"

I got really scared about what he might say next.

"Yeah..."

"Well," he said. "We're moving there, it's official."

I tried my best to hold back my tears, but it just wasn't working. I put my face into his shoulder and began to cry as he comforted me.

"I know, baby. I wish I could stay... But I can't."

I cried harder.

"C'mon we better get you home before your dad kills me." That made me smile a bit. Kyle grabbed my hand and lead me to his car. We got in and he drove me home and walked me to my doorstep.

"When are you leaving??" I asked, still sobbing a little.

"Uhh," he scratched the back of his neck. "Tonight actually." My hand quickly went over my mouth as I began to sob again. Kyle pulled me into another hug as he kissed my head gently.

My dad knocked on the window; signaling me to come inside. Kyle grabbed my chin.

"I love you, Mary."

I cried more.

"I love you too, Kyle."

"We can make long distance work, I swear." He said.

"But promise me one thing." He said.

"What?" I asked.

"Never forget this." He said as he leaned in and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he rested his hands on my hips. We pulled away and we wiped away a fallen tear. He grabbed my hand and left a kiss on it before walking to his car.

Once he drove away I walked inside instantly calling my mom asking what to do now because... He was my first love.

*Flashback Over*

I got tired after a while so I made my way to my bed. I can't believe he's coming back. What if he has someone else in his life? What if he has a problem with Ross? What if my dad doesn't like him anymore? What if he-

~Ding~

My phone went off because I just got a message from an unknown number.

From: Unknown
Hey, it's Ross. It took me like an hour to get your number from Ryland. Anyways I think it's going to be worth it.

Sweet Dreams. 🌙

I put his number in my phone then replied.

To: Ross 🎤⚡️
Haha, goodnight to you too, blondie.

From: Ross 🎤⚡️
Wait! Before you go to sleep, are you doing anything tomorrow? We have a day off and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out.

To: Ross 🎤⚡️
I'm doing something in the morning, I'll see if I'm free later. It would be fun to hang.

From: Ross 🎤⚡️
Of course it would be fun. I mean who wouldn't want to hang with The Ross Lynch?!

To: Ross 🎤⚡️
Me.

Just kidding. 😂 goodnight now.

From: Ross 🎤⚡️
Oh haha. 😒 JK, goodnight.

I set my phone on the charger and went to sleep with a smile on my face.

Ross POV

I set my phone down and made my way to the kitchen to get some food. I heard some talking before I got into the kitchen. So, being me. I started eavesdropping.

"Dude, Ryland." I heard Riker say. "We have to meet up with my friend, Kyle. He's coming over tomorrow and he's super cool."

"Okay, okay." Ryland said. "What should we do?"

I walked in since I knew it wasn't anything that important.

"Hey, guys." I said as I walked to the fridge.

"Hey, I'm having a friend over tomorrow. I think you'll like him." Riker said.

"Cool." I responded with as I walked back toy room with some crackers. Kind of excited to meet this new guy. But I'm more excited to hopefully see Mary... I looked at my new contact in my phone and smiled.
