Nightmares and Breakfast

"Jack!!" Rose called and ran up and hugged him. He lifted her into a 'spinny hug'. The Doctor shifted uncomfortably at the display. He scratched the back of his neck and leaned against the console until they had finished hugging.

"I thought you were dead!" Rose exclaimed and plopped down onto the jump seat.

"No Rose! You saved me! I.. Actually.. I'm immortal! Thanks to you!" He flashed her a grin.

Rose tried pushing the thought of her and the Doctor's kiss out of her mind because she felt so embarrassed. She saw him out of the corner of her eye and noticed how uncomfortable he looked.

She stood up and walked towards her room.

"Well that was a close one! Another day another adventure!" She said, glancing at the Doctor. "I'm still human -" she looked at Jack, "- so I need my sleep! Goodnight" she said to the both of them.

She walked through the halls, determined to get to her room as quickly as possible. She found the right door and locked it behind her and collapsed onto her bed.

Her face was bright red from embarrassment. She shoved her face in her pillow.

"Well now he's definitely taking me home." She groaned and punched her pillow.

She slipped under her covers and tried to sleep it off, only to be enveloped in dreams- well.. nightmares really.

Her dream started with The Doctor bursting into her room. "Get up" he had said. She slowly sat up and looked at him with a hint of fear in her eyes. He tossed her a backpack. She caught it and looked inside. It was packed with clothes nearly folded. Her clothes. The clothes she had kept here on the Tardis. She looked up at him.

"Rose. There are such things as boundaries. And I'm afraid you've definitely crossed ours." He had told her. "I've already packed your bag." He motioned to the backpack in her hands.

She followed him through the Tardis till they found the console room. She sat quietly on the jump seat while he set the coordinates for the Estate.

They landed with a small thud and he opened the doors. She silently walked through them and gave him one last glance before he shut them behind her and dematerialized.

Right after the groaning and wheezing of the Tardis dematerializing had stopped, she woke from her nightmare.

She glanced at her clock. 7:00 am. She groaned. She knew the Doctor always started breakfast at 7:05 so she hopped out of bed and got dressed again.

Rose walked through the halls and into the kitchen. She sighed of relief when she saw Jack at the table as well. 'Well at least I'm not alone with him. That would make the tension even worse.' She thought to herself as she sat in the chair next to Jack. There was a bowl of cereal in front of her and Jack and she dug in. The Doctor plopped down in front of them and started talking to Jack. He didn't even look at Rose. He was obviously ignoring her.
