Blue Meets Green

{Taylor's POV}

I was amazed at the sight my eyes were looking at. Everything was so beautiful and there's were so many lights. I guess what people say is true, New York is the City of Dreams.

I felt a vibration coming from my pocket. I got my phone out and saw several messages from Jason.

Jason: WHERE ARE YOU!???!?
Jason: WHY ARE YOU NOT HOME??
Jason: I KNOW YOURE READING ! ANSWER ME!!

I ignored the messages and continued to admire the sight in front of my eyes. After a few minutes of looking around I started to worry. Where was I going to stay the night?

To my luck a cab passed by and I waved to get the driver's attention. The cab pulled over and I got inside.
"Where to?" the driver asks.
"The cheapest motel please" I reply.
I can't go wasting money since I don't have a job. I would have to go job hunting tomorrow. In about 15 minutes we arrived at the motel it wasn't the best but it would have to do.
"How much?" I ask
"It's on me Blondie, don't worry about it" The man replies.
"Thank you" I reply with a smile.

I got off and made my way to the lobby. My eyes spotted a desk to the farthest left of the room. I walked over and saw a woman with black hair sleeping.
"Umm... Hello?" I asked shyly, I didn't really want to disturb her.
The woman jumped a little and smiled at me. She was so beautiful. Jet black hair that complimented her pale skin tone. Plump, pink lips and the most beautifully dazzling green eyes I have ever seen. I waited for a response but she just kept staring at me.
"Errr... Hi?" I said trying to break the awkward silence.
"Oh.. um... Yes, hi" she replies stuttering which made me smile a bit.
"Can I have a room please for the next two nights?" I asked.
"Yeah sure. It's $15 a night which will be $30 total" she answered handing me a room key.
"What's your name please" she asked.
"Taylor Schilling" I replied as she was typing it in the computer.
"Alright down that hallway 7th door to the left"
"Thanks"
I walked down the hallway and opened the door. It had a funky smell that hit right when I came in but it didn't bother me that much. I walked in and there's was a couch with a coffee table in front. Then a small kitchen with some pots and pans. I walked through a door that was in the kitchen that led to a two person bed and a tv in front of the bed. There was another door which I opened. It led to a bathroom with a shower, a toilet, and a sink.

I undressed myself and stepped into the shower. I looked at all my bruises that were almost gone completely. I sighed loudly as I remembered all the things Jason did to me. I should just forget about since I had just started my new life. I stepped out and dressed myself with some pajamas I fished from my bag.

I went out of the bathroom, throwing my bag and dirty clothes on the floor. I jumped into the bed and snuggled into the blankets. Then the beautiful black haired goddess came into my thoughts. She was so beautiful and her eyes seemed to look past me. She had a raspy voice which I found very attractive. Her name was Lana, Laura. Something like that I tried to recall from her name tag. I pushed the thought aside and eventually sleep took over.

{Laura's POV}

It had been a slow day at the motel and it was getting pretty late. I was getting really tired and since no one was coming in I decided to sleep. All of a sudden a heard a shy voice say "Umm... Hello?" I jumped and looked up. A beautiful blonde with the bluest eyes. They looked like they held an entire ocean. She was wearing a black hoody and black skinny jeans. I thought it was rather odd but I didn't question it and continued staring at her mesmerizing eyes. I realized I stared for to long when she had to call my attention yet again.
"Oh... Um.. Yes, hi" I replied stuttering to which she chuckled. She asked for a room and I passed her the key.
"What's your name please?" I asked. It wasn't necessary I just wanted to know.
"Taylor Schilling" she replied. Wow, what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl I thought.
She left to her room while I just thought about our little discussion.
