Olivia is just like any other girl. Almost. However Olivia and other girls are divided by one small detail: Olivia's touch slowly kills you, from the inside out.
As you can imagine, life for Olivia is...difficult. Wherever she goes people run and hide, screaming, "Death is near!"
Olivia has never touched her parents, and when she cries and yearns for the warmth of a simple embrace, her wishes are never greeted with satisfactory results.
However, this abnormal ability does assist in protection from threatening danger, and has helped Olivia win several awards within her community, for protecting random civilians from certain harm and possible death.
And then you have the opposite reaction, when you are locked in a prison cell for months at a time due to certain little accidents and misuse of power.
Maybe such accidents sparked repulsive actions the Government chose to take. Perhaps these little accidents set off a chain reaction, changing her life forever. Or perhaps it was mere coincidence that the Government stumbled upon her.
She doubted it.
