Unknowingly, Lily accidentally slept on Nigel's shoulders while waiting for the heavy rain to stop.
After about half an hour or so, the rain finally stopped.
"Hey, wake up the rain stopped."
I woke up to the familiar voice.
"Alex?" I smiled with eyes still closed.
"Erm.. It's Nigel.."
"Oh.. sorry.."
"It's okay. You miss him?"
"Sort of.. well, yes"
"So.. Do you want to go home or..?"
"Uhm.. Home, i don't want to trouble you. You still have to go home and look after Mandy for your mum."
"Oh right, i totally forgotten about that. Sorry, I'll send you home then."
"Nah Its alright, my home's not far from here anyway"
"You sure?"
"Yes old man", I chuckled.
"Psh you old hag" He mocked.
"Okayy byee idiot!" I hurried off.
"Bye idiot 2~ " He waved goodbye.
After a few minutes, i reached home. Alex was already sleeping on the couch in the living room, he probably waited for me..
I took a blanket and put it over him to make sure he doesn't catch a cold. Suddenly, he woke up..
"Lily, you're back!"
He smiled. A smile that is like.. feeling so reassured again after finding out someone you waited for is safe and sound.
His face was still bruised, thats right.. Typical Alex wouldn't take care of himself properly other than dressing up, eating and sleeping.
My hands slowly moved to where his bruises are and traced it slowly and gently with my thumb, My eyes start to water a little upon remembering Alex and Claire.. together.. I finally spoke.
"Come on, i'll help you apply first aid.."
I quickly walked off to get the first aid box as i didn't want him to notice i was on the brink of tearing up.
I don't know what had happened to me, well to be exact, my feelings. Deep inside me, i clearly know i love him alot. I guess another part of me just start to distant myself a little from him because of what i saw back there..
I came back with the first aid box and sat down in front of him. I opened the medication cream and gently used a cotton bud to pat on his injuries.
His emerald green sparkling eyes made my heart skipped a beat. I could see him staring at me. Despite of that, i am still looking at his injuries.
I looked up into his beautiful eyes, and i got lost in it. Our eyes were locked together. I could feel he was trying to slowly closen the gaps between us and i caught his eyes gazed down to my lips for a second.
I moved away quickly and stand up to face the opposite direction. I start to walk away in a rash but in small steps. I could hear his chasing footsteps.
Before i knew it, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to him.
"Lily.. I-I'm really sorry about.. b-before that. I don't know what to say but i can't say it out to you yet, please understand.. I-I'll tell you o-one day, i promise you. " He started.
"Can't say?"
I argued back feeling treated unfairly.
I couldn't hide my tears anymore. Tears started streaming down my face.
".." He remained quiet.
"I don't understand why.. W-Why can't you say? Why must i wait for that One Day you spoke about? This is so unfair.. This have come.. this far and all you care about is that your not allowed to say what you are suppose to explain to me? I don't know you anymore, Alex.. Alex please.. Please tell me so i can understand, so at least i can don't m-misunderstand what i saw back there, so when others speak ill of you i-i know its not true! So i know what i see is not what i really saw, and that i know you are still the same as before o-or just so i know that our love have not changed for each other."
I rambled on. Those were what i have been wanting to say since before and i finally got to say it.. I was feeling so suffocated deep inside and i don't know what to do. Even though i am still very saddened, i feel like a little load was off my chest after saying all those out.. I wanted him to explain all of that and i know relationships need to have mutual trust and understanding but isn't this going a little too far?
Suddenly, Alex pulled me in and hugged me tightly. I was so taken aback, i had to push him away.
He tried to hug me again, and before i knew it, i slapped him.
I was shocked, why did i do that?
I didn't mean it, it just.. it just happened.
There was a silence for a few seconds.
I looked at my hands and i stepped back a few steps before turning around and running out of the house.
Many flashback memories came to me while i was running and i felt so.. clueless and frustrated. Why did i do that? Why.. why.. why..
I ran and ran and ran.. I couldn't find an answer and i want to run away from everything. Suddenly, a small beam of light shone on my face and before i knew what was going on, i was hitted painfully and i fell to the rough ground hardly.
"Call the ambulance!"
"Mummy! Someone died!"
"Oh my god.."
"What happened here!"
"Are you okay?!"
I heard the little chatters and shoutings before everything turned pitch black.
Am i ... really dying?
*Flashback*
"Guys stop already, you're so immature!" I shouted.
"This is MINE!"
Nigel shouted back.
"BUT I TOOK IT FIRST DUMMIE"
Alex ranted.
These guys seriously -_- Fighting over the last popcorn..
"Urgh then give me the popcorn!"
I exclaimed as i was so annoyed.
"NO THIS IS MINE!"
They shouted in unison together.
"Wow fine chillax!"
I rolled my eyes and folded my arms, lying back on the slide.
Do you guys find reading these kind of notes a waste of time? Cuz' i do and i normally skip it haha!
Anyway, to clear up some little question marks on top of your head,
