My eyelids felt so heavy, i could barely open my eyes. However, i guess i did it because..
"Lily! You're awake!"
In the corner of my eyes, i saw Alex. He stood up instantly and gripped my hands. His eyes were.. a little red and still tearing, He also had a smile on.
"Alex.. What happened?"
"You got into an car accident, The doctor said that you were fortunate to have reached the hospital on time, or else you'd be in danger. However, he said you won't be able to use your right wrist for awhile until it is fully recuperated." Alex explained.
"My wrist?" I didn't get him.
"Yeah, you sprained your wrist since you kind of landed on your wrist with your body."
"Ouch.." i cringed.
"I'm glad your safe, Lily.. I don't know what i would do without you"
".. Me too" i smiled.
I guess after this incident, i learned to put behind what i saw just now because i didn't bother to ask him about it anymore after my unexpected visit to the hospital. I could see that Alex's face injuries improved a little bit too.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"3.30AM"
"Oh.. WAIT WHAT, A.M! My homework is not done and school is starting at 7.30AM, 4 hours from now! I have not changed, have not--"
"Lily don't be stupid! You got into a car accident, do you even think you're even in a good state to attend school?"
"Psh! Then what about you?"
"Well~ I'm taking care of you!"
He smirked.
"Oh please! Cut out that crap man, you're skipping school."
"Hey don't say it like that, this is killing two birds with one stone BECAUSE FIRSTLY, i can take care of you. SECONDLY, i can skip maths today."
"But i love maths." I glared at him
"You must be crazy after the car accident huh?"
"Oh shut it."
"Seeing how you can still lecture me, you must be feeling fine. Excluding that poor wrist for having such a great owner that knows how to take care of it SOOO well!"
"Annnndddd why did i get into an car accident in the first place?"
"Erm.. ANYWAY! The doctor said you can be discharged tomorrow after the check-up in the evening, and you will have to visit the hospital on arranged days to keep up on your condition"
"Great way to change the topic."
"Well~ It's the truth afterall."
"Go home Alex you're tired."
"Who says i'm tired?"
"Your eyes, It's bloodshot red"
"Guess my eyes gave it away, but i'm not going i'm taking care of my wifey."
"Pshh your not-yet-wifey is fine now. Go home or i'll ban visitors from visiting my ward room."
"Okay fine fine i give up. Instead, i'll come in the afternoon okay?"
"Okay bye~"
Alex bend over while placing his hands on my cheeks and kissed me on my forehead. I closed my eyes and smiled, this is happiness.
"Bye hun" he waved and walked out.
I slept again soon after he left..
After a few hours, i woke up to the beautiful scenery outside my window. The sun was already up and shining, and people are taking walks around the park. Some laughing, playing and relaxing. I decided to go take a walk in the park, it's a good day so why not?
When i entered the park, i felt a surge of blessings and happiness. Kids were playing with each other, couples were laughing together, and some others doing simple exercises. What caught my attention was this old couple sitting on a bench. Their hair were already all white and their faces had wrinkles. The wife was lying on the husband's shoulders smiling.
I smiled when i see them behaving so sweetly. I wonder.. Will that be Alex and I in the future? Slowly, i walked to them.
"Hello" The husband said and
the wife just smiled at me.
I smiled at them back as my greeting.
"Hows your day today Mr?"
"It's great!" He replied.
"What about you, Mrs?"
She nodded.
"What about yours?" He said.
"It's beautiful!"
His wife sat up and he looked at her.
She started doing some hand movements, and i then realised she was doing sign language.
"She asked you what do you find, is the best word in the dictionary, miss." He said.
"Hmm.. I'm not very sure, i have never thought of it before.. Probably, happiness?"
Hey guys! So i'm stopping here for this entry. I hope all of you enjoyed, and yes. If you noticed, it is a little bit shorter and i apologise for that. I decided to stop at this part.
