Nigel left the room soon after..
I just stood still at that same exact spot, i felt like everything turned invisible around me and all i could think about was that he actually kissed me..
I can still feel my face turning red as every second goes by, how am i going to look at him the same way now? It would be so awkward.. I should try to avoid him for the rest of today.
After a few minutes, i managed to calm myself down. Even though that image and feeling was still there, it was not as tense as before, thank god.
A while later when i was preparing to go shower, i made sure i hear the bathroom lights switch were sounded before i rush out of the room, making sure to not bump into him somehow.
"Ouch!"
I bumped into something while rushing out!
When i opened my eyes slowly, it was Nigel's chest. Oh my freakin-- His hands was on my back and i just stood there, i couldn't move a single step.
"Hey idiot how long more are you planning to hug me?"
"S-sorry!"
I shouted as i rushed into the bathroom and locked the door really quickly and leaned against the door. God that was awkward! I could hear my heart thumping really loudly, so loud i thought it was going to explode in my chest! That was so tense argh!
"By the way! Your heart beated really fast, i wonder why?"
He shouted from outside the bathroom door.
"SH--SHUT UP I'M SHOWERING!"
"Sure the shower isn't even on~"
I quickly turned on the shower to avoid embarassing myself further. While showering, i managed to calm my thoughts and think very carefully.
Slowly, i slid down the wall and sat down while covering my face.
The house Alex and i built together.. Was it really built up of nothing for the past 1 year?
And what did Claire meant when he hasn't carried out the plan?
Have Alex never loved me?
Slowly, my hands brushed through my hair as i opened my eyes to the reality that i wished was not true.
After showering, i just head back to my room and closed the door behind me. I sat down on the little cushion that sat on the floor all along by the bed and covered my face into my knees as i sighed.
Suddenly, i felt a warm touch on my shoulder pulling me in.
"I know its hard on you and all but i promise i'll help you get through it all. You just have to trust me and only look at me, don't look at him or anyone else now. I'll protect your heart and i'll take care of you."
I looked up and it was Nigel, i already knew it was him.
"When.. or how did you come in?"
"Silly you didn't close the doors fully. I knocked but you didn't hear."
I could hear his heart thumping pretty fast too.
"Hey your heart is beating really fast, i wonder why?"
I made fun of him again and smiled.
He used his finger and lift my chin up again before kissing me on my lips. I closed my eyes, he was so sweet. I could feel him smiling.
The next morning, i changed into my plain crop top with a low-waisted army-styled denim shorts before heading down.
Suddenly, i remembered about the envelope!
I ran to Nigel and asked if he saw anything in my pocket last night before taking the laundry for wash.
"Yeah it was an envelope or something like that right? I left it on your room's table."
"THANKS!!"
I shouted as i ran up to my room.
This time, i made sure to lock the doors behind me. I don't want Nigel to just barge in while i was looking what is in the envelope.
I grabbed the envelope and opened it up, inside was a coffee-coloured paper.
I took the folded paper out and started reading it, it was a little long..

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
"Lily hurry up! You hasn't started on your breakfast and we'll be late if you don't hurry up!"
"COMING!!"
I quickly finished my breakfast and head out the door with Nigel for school.
After half an hour or so, we finally reached the school's entrance.
There, i spotted Alex.
What should I do?
What if he is waiting for me?
No.. No way that he is waiting for me because yesterday he kissed Claire back and didn't push her away.
"Hey babe!"
Alex shouted.
My heart skipped a beat and i stopped moving. He came in for a hug but was interrupted by Nigel shortly after. He pushed Alex away harshly, causing Alex to fall, I tried running up to Alex to help him up by Nigel stopped me with his hands.
"Remember what he did to you?"
He said.
I nodded silently and looked down.
"This is nothing compared to what he have done to you."
He continued.
Alex stood up shortly after.
"What do you mean? I didn't do anything.. Lily, what's happening?"
