Chapter 2:Explanations

There was an extremely loud knock, or what sounded more like banging , on the door
"Come in,"Gaius shouted.
A messenger opened the door. "The prince wishes to speak to you,please report to his chambers immediately.Gaius walked to Arthur's chambers and knocked on the door. "Gaius?" Arthur asked.
"Yes sire," said Gaius
"Enter!" Arthur said rather loudly.
Gaius entered the room. "Where's Merlin?" Said Arthur unimpressed but not that surprised.He's extremely late and I need to get dressed!"
"He's down at the ... Erm...the...tavern, yes that's where he is," Gaius said nervously
"Oh is he, well when he returns and sobers up tell him that the stocks are ready for him," Arthur said smirking.
"Yes sire," Gaius replied.
Gaius started to walk out of the room and then turned back because Arthur called him.
"Who's going to dress me?"Arthur asked. "Well, Merlin is your responsibility,so, you can dress me,"Arthur said as if answering his own question.
"Erm...sire..." Gaius said hesitantly.
"Come on Gaius, how hard can it be?" Said Arthur.

Merlin or old Merlin, had reached Morgana's chambers ,it took longer when he was old,and knocked on Morgana's door but it wasn't Morgana that opened it. It was Gwen. "Hello?" Said Gwen.
"Hello Gwen," said old Merlin in a very croaky voice.
"How do you know my name?" Said Gwen puzzled.
Then Merlin realised that he wasn't meant to be Merlin anymore.
"I don't have to explain myself to you, now where's the lady Morgana,this is her room after all,is it not?" Said old Merlin in a sort of controlling voice.
"Erm...well," said Gwen stammering.
"Hello?" Said a familiar voice.
"Morgana?" Said old Merlin.
"Gwen you can go now," said Morgana kindly.
"Goodnight m'lady," Gwen said as she walked out of the room.

"I know it's you Merlin," said Morgana truthfully.
"How...?"said old Merlin confused.
"Firstly, I saw you doing something that looked suspicious and secondly, I know you better than anybody else," said Morgana smiling.
"How... You don't know me that well," said Merlin still confused.
"Well, I've sort of been watching you."Morgana said nervously immediately changing her wording. "That sounds terrible, I don't mean it in a scary way,but, well I've seen things I wasn't meant to see,magic I mean."
"I honestly didn't know what to say,"said old Merlin
"Before you say anything more please can you change back into you know,Merlin," Morgana said before laughing a nervous laugh.

Old Merlin walked back to his chambers.
"What happened, why are you looking so happy?" Said Gaius shocked
"Morgana knew about my magic,now I can actually teach her," said Merlin, talking quickly wit h excitement
"Hang on Merlin,I told you not to tell her,"said Gaius crossly.
"I didn't, she just,knew but ,now I need to change back,"said Merlin extremely quickly
"Merlin, just promise me you'll be careful," said Gaius seriously
"I know I can trust her,and I promise I'll be careful,"said Merlin in a very decisive voice, before going back into his room.

It took him a small amount of time to master changing back but when did, he felt fresher than ever,then he ran back to Morgana's chambers.he didn't knock on her door,just went in.
"Morgana?"said Merlin
"Merlin, it's a long story,you may be here a long time." She said sweetly. "Now,where do I begin?"
