Chapter 5:chained up for love

"How dare you mess around with my ward?" Said Uther furiously.
"She is royal and will marry a suitable man, not a servant boy like you!"
Arthur was standing behind his father staring at Merlin, knowing exactly how he felt and also give the look like "that was the girl?"

Morgana burst into the room crying.
"What did he do to you?" Uther said embracing Morgana into a huge hug. She pulled out of it.
"I love him and I won't deny it and I certainly won't marry one of your stupid selective husbands!"
"Morgana, you will take that back or there will be some serious consequences!
"Never!" Said Morgana firmly.
"Lock them up!" Said Uther to the guards.

They dragged Morgana and Merlin away kicking and screaming to separate  cells and Morgana was furious so she picked up her emerald necklace and began to sob. She then put the necklace around her neck and felt calmer.
Then she tried to remember all the magic she learned with Merlin and did an unlocking spell to break out of the cell.

Merlin was just sitting down until Morgana came running and I liked the door for him, then they fled.

The guard saw it and ran to tell Urher "My ward has magic?" Uther bellowed.
"Uther, magic is not a curse, it's a gift," said Morgana
"I have magic too," said Merlin calmly.
"Nobody can know about you Morgana, I will not outlaw magic in Camelot." Said Uther. "You Merlin however will be executed at dawn."

"Your hate Uther for magic has no restrictions!"Morgana screamed.
"You will NEVER use your magic again!" Said Uther to Morgana.

Arthur raised his voice "Merlin doesn't have magic, his head is thicker than a book and he's just an absolute idiot!"
"Uther he doesn't have magic he just said that because he thought he was protecting me," said Morgana.

"Fine, but you two are to be kept away or Merlin will be banished on penalty of death!" Said Uther.
"Fine!" Said Morgana storming to her bedroom.

Merlin was in his room just wondering why he didn't just leave Morgana alone. There was only one creature that he could get help from.

"You two can not be separated by such a weak man," said the dragon.
"This does not change your destiny,"
He did not say anything else at all jut flew off.

Merlin had to work that day for Arthur but because of what happened Arthur told him to go back to Gaius.Or was it because he wanted to see Gwen again?

Merlin got back and Gaius looked unhappy  at him.
"You can't risk your life like that, your special to me, to everyone infact," said Gaius more upset than angry
"I'm sorry Gaius," said Merlin meaningfully.
"That's ok," said Gaius disappointed.

Merlin went back to his room and found a note in very neat handwriting saying
Dear Merlin, Uther wants us to separate but I don't, I want to see you, meet me in the forest by the hollow tree x x x

Merlin quietly checked nobody was looking and left for the forest bringing the note with him.

"Merlin, Uther can't change my feelings for you, nobody can,"said Morgana
"I got you this,"Morgana pulled out a magic book, but a newer and better one  with much better spells. "I thought we could study it together," said Morgana
"It even says how to transform into animals,"
"I love it!" Said Merlin happily.

Morgana unwrapped lots of food, the finest food Merlin had ever eaten.
"Well it certainly beats servants food!" Merlin exclaimed. "Did you make this it's beautiful," Merlin said.
"Yes, I did," Morgana said.
"But if we have a relationship I'm not going to be the girl that cooks and cleans whilst you go out," she laughed.
"I know Morgana, you're the strongest person I know, but do you well do you want to be in a relationship with me?"

"I'm not going to stand here and wait for the man to ask me," said Morgana.
"Will you court me?" Asked Morgana.
"Yes of course Morgana I would love to," said Merlin.

The alarm bell rang.  "They must have found out, we must run back to our rooms and pretend nothing ever happened," said Morgana.
"Run!" Screamed Merlin.
They ran back to the castle to find everyone panicking and some sobbing.
"What's wrong?" Merlin said
"You don't know?" Asked a man.

Merlin ran to find Arthur and he was not in his room, he went to the throne room and saw Arthur crying with Uther lying dead on the floor...
