Chapter 3:Lost for words

"You can sit next to me merlin,I don't bite, and the drink is for you," Merlin stood up and sat next to her, picking up a drink.Since the first day you arrived, I knew there was something different about you, when you stood up to Arthur like that and said that you could easily beat him but then did nothing," Morgana said quietly.
"One day, I went to see Gaius but nobody was there, I entered the room and went to see if you were in your room,"
"You weren't there but there was a book, a large one, I opened it and at first I didn't know what it was, but they looked like spells and I worked out that it was a magic book," "I had no idea or thought before that you could have magic, and assumed that you had studied it,"

"The next day I went to the library to find out more about magic, I found out little because Uther had burned most of them, so I asked the librarian when magic studies were banned and he said about 10 years ago." " that's when I realised you couldn't have studied magic so I thought that maybe you could be trying to learn magic now,"
" I began to follow you a little bit to find out about you, and one day when I was attempting to listen through your door, nobody was there again but I heard footsteps, so I immediately opened the door and hid inside the room."
"Gaius entered and then you too but a while later." "I knew I had to leave soon as Gwen would go looking for me but you started to perform magic unbelievably well, I was shocked but felt I needed to leave." " I waited until you weren't looking and made my way across the room, eventually leaving and hurrying back thinking of an excuse to tell Gwen,"

"The next day, I went back to the library to ask if someone could be able to do magic without studying it, he asked me why I was so interested in it and I just said that you need to know your enemy wincing as I said it." "Eventually he told me that sometimes people were born with it, telling me not to tell Uther that he told me.Then I decided you had to be born with it due to what he told me, what I'd seen and the fact that I overheard another suspicious conversation between you and Gaius."

"Nothing really happened after that until I, found out that I had magic and that we were the same, I was so excited.I hope all this overhearing and following doesn't scare you, it was just because I wanted to know..."
"No, it doesn't matter just carry on Morgana," said Merlin
"Anyway, I well, heard you and Gaius talking about me and that you wanted to help me and the next day I came back past your room and heard you tell Gaius about you, ageing." " Then you came to my room and I waited for you to come back old, I also, knew it was you because I saw you in him, that's it, how I knew about...," Morgana said finishing her 'story'.

" I really don't know what to say," said merlin lost for words.
"Say you'll study magic with me every day." Said Morgana.
"Of course!" Said Merlin surprised."
"We can do it here at night, when you've finished work,"said Morgana planning things out excitedly.
"We can start now if you want, I can teach you everything I know about magic," Merlin said smiling.
"That would be amazing said Morgana," smiling the sweetest smile she had ever smiled.

That night, they studied spells laughing and spending time together, learning things about each other nobody else knew about them. Merlin realised how good at Magic, Morgana was, it came so naturally to her.Merlin saw Morgana in a different light, someone the same as him. Merlin found himself staring at Morgana, pointing out in his head all of her many beauties, in fact nothing about her was anything else.

Morgana looked at Merlin with admiration and love, she knew why she admired him, his magic was stronger than anyone's, and his bravery and knowledge... But why she loved him remained a mystery to her.

"Morgana, I should probably go, it's late a and Gaius will be worrying about me," said Merlin
"Of course Merlin but will you come tomorrow?" Morgana said in a whispery voice.
"Yes, Morgana I will be back," said Merlin as he gently squeezed Morgana's hand.
"Is that ok..." Said Merlin very nervously.
"Yes Merlin!" Said Morgana as she he,d his hand for all of three seconds.
"Goodbye Morgana," said Merlin as he shut the door tightly.
