Chapter 6:magic army

"Merlin, this is not the time," sobbed Arthur. "Guards catch the man that did this!"
"What happened?" Merlin asked.
"He was left alone, when a figure burst in and stabbed him," said Arthur on the verge of tears.
"Who?" Asked Merlin.
"Nobody knows," replied Arthur.
"Then, when he was on his deathbed, he told me that he was Morgana's father and that I should tell her,"
"I can't, I need to sort, this out," said Arthur.

Merlin sprinted to Morgana's room. She was sound asleep.
"Uthers dead,"Merlin said gravely.
"What?" Morgana said bursting into tears. "I know he hated magic but he was a good king,"
"He asked Arthur to tell you that he's your father, Arthur was too upset to tell you."

"My fathers dead?" Morgana said crying uncontrollably. "He loved me so much and  I never got to say goodbye to him,"
"I'm sorry," Merlin said.
"It's not your fault," Morgana said.
"I'll leave you some time alone," Merlin said.
"Stay with me please," Morgana cried.
"Of course," Merlin said.

Arthur was standing still staring at the floor. "You have to be strong Arthur," said the voice of a knight.
"The armies are coming, your crowning needs to be moved to tomorrow,"
"I'll be ready," said Arthur.

Morgana was sobbing in her bed and Merlin was on an armchair next to her.
"Come in please," Morgana pleaded Merlin.
Merlin climbed onto the bed laying on the covers.
"Merlin, this is not the time to be cautious," said Morgana.
Merlin clambered into the bed and stroked Morgana's hair, comforting her and then he realised that her calming necklace was not on her neck so he picked it up and fastened it.
"I feel, better," Morgana said.
Merlin stroked the emerald beads.

"We need someone else to fight,"said Leon.
"Do you know anybody?"
" what about Lancelot?" Said Arthur.
"I'll send some men,"

Arthur went to get Merlin and he wasn't in his room, so he went to ask Morgana if she new where he was.
He found them together him stroking her neck and comforting her.
"Merlin?!" Screamed Arthur.
"This isn't the time,"
Merlin leapt out of bed.
"What do you want?" Asked Merlin.
"We're sending out some men to find Lancelot," said Arthur.
"I need to stay with Morgana," said Merlin.
"You must go," said Morgana.

The ride took a while but they found Lancelot. "Lancelot, Camelot is in danger, Uther is dead,"
"When do we ride?" Lancelot asked.
"Now," said Arthur.

They arrived in Camelot and the army was here, rejoicing of Uthers dead.
"For the love of Camelot!" Said Arthur.
"For the love of Camelot!!!" Chorused the Knights.

They charged into them, but they're weapons broke as soon as they touched them. "It must be magic!" Screamed Arthur. It felt like the men were multiplying but it was just Camelots men slowly lessening.

"Retreat!" Screamed Arthur.
They all ran back inside the castle, sealing off the gates.

The men had them trapped, every day they stayed inside the castle, rationing food and water. Gwen ran out and filled up lots of water from the well, she then ran back in. "We're nearly out of food supplies," said the cook to Arthur.
"Is there anything the you can cook taking less food?" Asked Arthur
"Peasants food," said the cook.
"That will have to do," said Arthur.

"I can't tell what this is!" Said Arthur to Merlin. "It's sloppy and tastes like soggy paper!"
"May I ask when you've tasted soggy paper?!" Asked Merlin sarcastically.
"Oh shut up Merlin!"Arthur said.

"We've jut run out of food," said the cook.
"We'll have to fight," said Arthur
The Knights ran out and began to fight the men again. They were dropping like flies. They had no hope whatsoever.

Merlin was going to use his magic but it was too exposed.
In one swipe, all of the men were instantly killed.
"What the hell?!" Arthur said.

Out of nowhere  a figure with long blonde hair was approaching.
"A sorcerer!" Arthur whispered.
" I have a name,"said the figure.
"Who are you?"asked Arthur.
