Ellie's pov

The kids has gone to pack there stuff away and yes Owen did come back unharmed. Wish I could say the same for Luke

"Hold still" I sighed as I patterd a cotton pad on legs lip. He hissed some more

"Almost done" I said, before taking the cotton pad away from Luke's face and placing it in the bin

"Thank you" Luke said, sitting back up again. I smiled

"I'm thinking of taking hazel for a wonder around the forest, I herd there's another Lakehouse a few miles from ours, maby someone's renting it and when can make some new friends" I said as I straightend the cushions

"And leave me alone with that devil child" Luke laughed

"I'll take him aswell, it might fascinate him, anyway someone had to cook tea and its not going to be me" I teased and Luke rolled his eyes

"Fine ill cook if you take Owen" he said and stood up fully

"Thanks a million" I said, reaching in to kiss him. Even thou we have been together for a long long time It still felt like I was kissing him the first time. He wrapped his arm around my wasit as we got more passionate, then I herd the oh so familiar voice

"Ewwww" yep Owen. Luke groaned and pulled away. I laughed

"Owen, I was just looking for you, want to go exploring the woods with me and hazel" I asked

"Yes" he said jumping "can I look for bugs" he asked

"Sure, did you bring your binocleurs" I asked. He nodded

"Go get them" I smiled and darted to his room

"He's starting high school soon and he acts like he's just starting" Luke laughed

"He's just living while he's younge, besides you where around the same age is Anastasia and jack when you were spraying pepper in your eyes" I laughed and luke threw a pillow at me

"Hey, hey" I laughed and threw it back. I walked over to hazel who was sleep in her carrier. She was beautiful, like me. I placed my hand on her stomach and rubbed it a little trying to wake her up. I sounded cruel but she's been asleep most of today and I don't want her missing out on the outdoors. I grabbed out the babie carrier, the one that you strap around your body and place the baby in, as I didn't want to bring out a pram and I also didn't want to carrier her around and have my hands too full to tend to Owen, which I might have to go to extremes to keep by since he could easily get lost in Canada. I went up to the baby bag and pulled out a leash like thing, not a dogs leash no I'd never do that to my child,  no it was one where he holds on to one end and I hold onto the other and in serious cases I attach it to his wrist, it's safer for him...and his surroundings. I put on the carrier and plopped hazel in it as Owen came down the stairs. I said my good byes to Luke and wonderd out the lake house.

We had been walking for a while, taking in the beauty of Canada. Owen was on his best behaviour I only really had to restrict him is when he found a dead owl. Anyways my feet where starting to hurt abit and Owen had gone quiet. Wait where was Owen. Oh shit. I looked around for footsteps and I saw some. Great. I followed the foot steps hoping Owen would be who they led to. Hazel was just clapping her hands

"Right hazel, keep a eye open for Owen" I said as I looked around. I then saw a Lakehouse and a man outside, tending to a BBQ. I ran up to him

"Hello, sorry to bother you but have you seem a 10 year old about" I asked

"For a matter of fact I have, one second" he said. He put down his pliers and went inside his lake house. He then walked out with Owen.

"Mum" he called and ran over

"Oh my god thank you soo much" I smiled and grabbed hold of Owens hand

"Your welcome, say why don't you join us for our BBQ, my wife and son have gone out looking for fire wood so they should be back shortly, oh I'm Steven by the way" he said with a friendly smile

"Ellie and thank you but sadly I can't, my husband is cooking tea tonight, though I'd love to another time" I smiled. I know he's a stranger but he seemd nice. Plus he only had one child meaning he still probably had his sanity.

"Great, how about tomorrow, where's your lake house" he asked

"A few miles away, number 236" I said, Owen startd to pull on my arm so I pulled him back, still trying to smile

"Oh my that is far, I know, you know the large oke tree by the river, about 10 minutes away from here" I nodded. I remember passing that tree, Owen tried to pee on it (I know)

"Oh yes" I replied

"I'll set up a camp fire and we can all meet up their at let's say 8pm, bring your husband and kids" he smiled and flipped a burger

"Sure thing" I smiled. Owen then got loose from my hand so I ran after him

"See you tomorrow" he called and I just waved

I arrived back at the lake house. My feet swollen and head killing. Luke smiled at me as I enterd the door. Owen ran straight upstairs and I sighed. Luke came up to me and lifted up hazel and sat her on the sofa as I un clipped the carrier

"How was it" luke asked

"Great, Owen had a few Owen moments but apart from that it was great, I met our neighbours and they have invited us for a campfire neer the oak tree" I sighed as I sat down. I placed hazel on my lap

"Great, right teas almost ready" luke said as he went back to the pans. I started to gently bounce hazel on my knee

"Promise me you won't turn out like your brothers" I whispered. She stuck her fist in her mouth and brought it out, covered in drool and touched my forehead

"I'll take that as your way of saying pinkie promis" I laughed

"Foods ready" Luke called. Yay
