Chapter 22

Anastshias pov

We arrived back at the lake house fairly late. Mum sent Owen and hazel to bed while the rest out us laughed our socks off. 

"Well done everyone's justice is surved" dad cheered as Eveyone began to settle down. Mum made her way downstairs 

"Let's hope they don't get revenge" laughed dad. Seth walked up to mum and showed her his phone. She then looked mortified and panic stricken. What was on that text. Mum then whispered something to Seth and they both ran upstairs. Then mum came back down 

"Everyone, can I have your attention" she called 

"Something bad has popped up and we need to leave this house for a day or two, its a long story ill explain later just right now we need to pack up and make it look like no one lives here" she said, her voice shaking. Did this have something to do with Seth. I guess I'll ask him. But for now I better get packing. 

Ellie's pov

Luke came up to me 

"Ellie, running away isn't going to solve much, remember when we ran away from your father, he came back, to sort this mess out we have to fight back" Luke said. I guess he was right. I mean we had no ware to go, no car no nothing, also this cabin was expensive 

"Eveyone, stop, it's fine, un pack, I have another idea" I called. I attually didn't have a idea I just felt saying it made it had a reason. Eveyone came back down, we'll hazel and Owen didn't. 

"He won't be arriving in Canada until the morning, look Eveyone just go to bed" Luke called. 

Anastshias pov

Who is he on about. 

"Who" asked jack 

"Look it didn't matter just go to bed, now" mum said. She turned to me 

"Off to bed aswell" she instructed. She turned to the boys

"Right lets organise sleeping arangements" she said, clasping her hands together. I went upstairs and got ready for bed, thou my mind was racing trying to figure out what was going on. Who is comeing and why is my mother and Seth bonding of late. I ended up falling asleep from all the thoughts buzzing around my brain. 

I was awoken by a smash noise comeing from downstairs, worried, I climed out of bed, it was morning and I saw jack come out of the bathroom with the same concerned face as me. We slowly made our way from our bedroom and downstairs. I could see a fat dirty looking man nocked out on the floor. All of the boys were staring in shock at mum who was holding a frying pan over him. She smiled and placed the pan down as everyone else came running down to see what happend. Dad had hazel. Owen went to go poke the man but dad restricted him with his free hand. Seth looked just plain scared and I saw a tear roll down his face and he ran to hug my mother. Wait, was this man Seths dad?  Seth was whispering thank yous to mum as she ruffled his hair. 

"Good shot" James whispered and everyone laughed even Seth

" I'll call the cops and get him away" mum reassured Seth as she stepped over the body

Seths pov

I am forever great full for Ellie caring as much as she does. I just wish this ment the end of eveything....
