Chapter 18

Ellie's pov

Maby she won't recognise me, I mean its been years and years and I don't look the same. Anyway it might not be her. Loads of people look the same 

"Hello" she said in an Australian accent, yep it's her. I knew she'd marry to an American. Wait she didn't seem to remember me did she, plus she's probably matured. 

Anastashias pov

No, no,  I could see him glaring at me. Please no. I then felt some patters on my hand. Oh my god thank you, it's raining, this means we can't have a campfire and we have to return home and I can pretend to be ill and never come back. I've lest America for good now, I thought my past was behind me, I guess you can always outrun past ghosts. 

"Oh darn it, it's reining, I guess you guys will have to come back to ours, it's only a 10 minute walk and we did promis food" Steven laughed. Bitch are you serious 

"Sure" dad smiled. But it will take us longer to get back home. Ergh. 

We followed them back. Mum was talking to Kate and Luke and Steven were talking. Cole was walking in front of everyone. God I felt sick. Owen and jack where walking together and I was sat the back with Seth. I stayed extra close to him. I didn't want to tell him about cole. 

We soon arrived at their lake house. It looked the same as our. I tensed up. Maby I didn't have to interact with cole. Maby he'd leave us alone. We walked inside and the adults instantly sat on the sofa. Well hazel was there aswell 

"You children can play" Kate smiled. For starters I'm not a child I'm a teenager, secondly no. 

"You feeling okay" Seth asked. I nodded. Cole looked at me and smirked 

"Come to my room" he said and lead me, Seth, jack and Owen to his room. 

"Now, why don't we play hide and seek" he said. His voice was slow and dark. Why was he acting like a little child and why was he staring at me like that 

"Erm aren't we a bit old for that" jack asked. I guess jack forgot me and cole dated. 

"For his sake" cole said pointing at Owen who was trying to lick his armpit. 

"I know, I'll count and all hide, first person I find is next to be it" he suggested. We all nodded. I guess in hide and seek I can hide from him. Even thou he's bound to find me. I turned around and started to count. Everyone ran out of the room. I went with Seth and we went inside the airing cupboard. It was stuffy. I felt safe with Seth with me. Cole can't hurt me. Me and Seth stood still in the airing cupboard. I could here cole counting. He then stopped and said "ready or not here I come" god he sounded like the psychopath he was. I felt my breath pick up and Seth grabbed hold of my hand and kiss my forehead. I felt better. I could hear his footsteps approach the door. It then swung open and I saw that hideous grin of his. Why did I even date him. 

"Oh looks like I found ellie first" the whispered. He then looked at Seth then went off. He found Owen and jack fairly fast after. Like he knew where they were but wanted me to be found first. We all gathered back in his room 

"So I found Ellie first so she's on, the rest of us can go and hide" he said (why do I imagin cole as a human size rat and Seth as that wolf guy off twilight) I felt scared. Everyone left the room and I began to count. I counted to 50 and turned around

"Ready or not here I come" my voice came out shaky. I left the room and walked around. I herd some mummberling from behind the main  bathroom door. I crept closen. I could recognise it as Cole and Seth?  

"And then she slept with him just to make his girlfriend jealous, she's that kind of slut" I herd cold sneer. I felt a tear form in my eye 

"She's not like that" Seth said, he sounded unsure thou. Did he not trust me. Bitch I share my food with him it's serious. 

"Oh really, when we dated she even confessed she slept with others while we were and she only did it to make others jealous, she's a giant slut, believe me I went to school with her, she caused me nothing  but pain, don't trust her, you mean nothing to her, I'm only telling you this because I respect you man, I don't want any other getting hurt" I felt the tear fall. He was making up shit about me so I looked bad. Really. He was that immature. I wiped my eyes. He's wanting to hurt me and crying proves he's winning. I walked away and found Owen and jack. I then went to the bathroom and opend the door. Seth didn't even look at me and cole nudge me as he called passed. He wouldn't turn Seth against me would he, no Seth wouldn't fall for his bull shit. 

"I found Owen first" I said, trying to keep my shaky voice at bay. Owen then turned to Seth 

"Can you go instead, I don't want to count" Owen asked 

"Sure" Seth smiled. He turned around. Great. I went off to hide in the airing cupboard again since I didn't feel like being creative. I then saw the door open,I thought it would be Owen but it was cole. COLE. I tensed up and tried to push my self out but he pushed me back and held his hand over my throat. The physco 

"Long time so see baby girl, thought you'd leave" he sneered. I felt a tear slip down my face. I was losing. He laughed. I moved his hand from his neck to my jaw. I flinched. He started to duck down, dragging me down with him. I was confed and scared. I couldn't move I was that scared. Soon I was balancing on my tip toes in a crouched down position. My legs shaking because they were struggling with this position. What was he playing at. He was just holding my jaw and smiling. One hand was rubbing my thigh the creep. I herd foot steps apporching, yay Seth was going to help. The foot steps stopped at the door and that's when cole pulled my jaw close to his mouth, causing me to fall on top of his and our lips connect. So this was his plan. I tried to pull away but he was holding my head down. Of course I didn't comply. Cole grabbed my hand and forced it around his neck and on his wasit. I was to move them when the door opened. Cole let go of my head and I move my arms as I spun around to see Seth. Thank god he's come to save me from this creep. 

"Eww Anastisha, I tried to get her off me but she just pinned me down, I told you, she's a cheating slut" cole said pushing me off him. I was too shocked to speak. I looked to Seth and wanted to explain but I was shaking too much for words to come out. Seth just glared at me with hate on his face. Cole stood up and walked out the door. He then closed it on me. I herd him say 

"Come on bro, she's not worth it" then his foot steps walking away. I stayed sat in the cuobaord. My mind processing what just happend. Did Seth believe him over me. Now I wish I had told Seth that cole was a physco. I scrunched myself into a ball and let the tears run...how could a ghost of a forgotten past come back and destroy me life again...

I waited inside the cupboard for at lead 2 hours before I heard mum call from downstairs saying we were off home. My eyes were drying from crying, I had used up all the tears I had. Just red cheeks. My eyes weren't swollen anymore so I looked like I was okay, just the sad position my mouth was frozen at. I stood up and walked out the cupboard. I wrapped one arm around my body and grabbed my other arm with it.... Act like everything was okay even thou it really isn't...
