[The scene cuts to the lobby. Charlie is sobbing on the floor in front of a shrine dedicated to Sir Pentious. (Name) has her arm around her while wiping her tears. Frank the Egg Boi is with them.]
Frank: "(pointing to crying Pentious busts) And here's when Pentious cried after he was caught spying. And here's when Pentious cried after you forgave him. And here's when Pentious cried when he first lost to Cherri Bomb. And here's when Pentious cried after telling me I'm the most handsome Egg Boi he's ever seen. (hands Charlie a tissue) I made that one up."
Charlie: "(crying) He truly was the best of us. Or at least the most snake."
(Name): "oh honey, it okay, let it out. (She takes the tissue to wipe Charlie's tears as well as hers."
Frank: "This is Pentious' death ray. He'd want you to have it."
Charlie: "(crying harder) He invented the best things. Even though a lot were scary weapons that hurt people. But we were working on that."
[The door opens, revealing Vaggie. Charlie looks up, shocked.]
Vaggie: 'Charlie, (Name) there you two are. Did you guys maybe want to come down and say hi to the new guests? We could really use your help, Charlie. There are reporters here and... (notices (Name) helping Charlie clean herself up) Are you okay, Charle?"
Charlie: "(with a strained smile) Uh huh. Everything is great. (chuckles) Great great. Why wouldn't everything be great? ( brings (Name) into a hug with Vaggie) We beat Adam, and the hotel's packed, (darkly, frantically) even though lots of people died, (normally) but-but it is so great."
(Name): "Charlie, you know it's ok to still be affected by everything."
Vaggie: " Yeah babe, I feel like you're still processing what happened. If you want, I can handle the hotel duties, talk to those reporters?"
Charlie: "Wha...? Pfft, it's fine. I'm perfectly calm. Calm and fine. Fine and calm. (grabs Vaggie) Let's talk to those reporters. I bet they want to know all about how redemption works, just like everyone else who's staying here, right?"
[(Name) and Vaggie share an unsure look before turning back to Charlie.]
Vaggie: "(nervously) Right. Yeah."
(Name): "Totally."
