They woke up suprisingly early and decided to stay in bed for a while. Neither of the two 'friends' knew what to think about this weekend. They confessed their love to each other, Sam in a somewhat romantic way and Cam in a heartbreaking suicide note. There were a lot of tears, fake smiles and some real smiles and laughs. Now it was monday and that meant hanging out with Cam was not an option today. Sam had to pick up a few things from Brittany's apartment and he had to somehow take care of Cam. There was no way that Sam would leave him home alone but coming up with something good wasn't easy at all.

"Really Sam, I'll be fine! I won't do anything stupid. You won't be gone for long anyway, so it's not a big deal." Sam only shook his head "I'm definitely not going to leave you here. I have no idea for how long I'll be gone. I don't want you to stay here all alone." Cameron knew he couldn't win because he had no good arguments and if Sam would be the one who tried taking his life, Cam wouldn't leave him home alone either. "I promise that I won't do anything bad." Even though Sam knew that Cam would never break a promise, he couldn't leave him. He might have another panic attack, he might have a mental breakdown and end up doing something bad anyway. "I can't, Cammy. I know you're someone who doesn't break promises but still." "You don't trust me, right?" "I do fucking trust you but that doesn't mean I'll just go somewhere for an unknown amount of time without knowing that you're okay. And don't you dare to tell me you are okay. As harsh as this might sound, you know you're not okay." He sighed and looked in Cam's eyes.

"You know, one of the guys could come over. James. You two could spend your day doing whatever the heck you want to do and -" "No!", Cam whisper yelled and interrupted Sam. "But why not?" He couldn't indentify the look in Cam's eyes "I don't want the others to see me like this. I don't want anybody to see me like this. You all seem to care, what I can't understand at all, but I still don't want you to see such a failure like me. I don't want to drag -" "Stop right there! You're not a failure. You are amazing, even though you don't think so. What makes you think that you are?" Cam tried not letting the tears fall "I suck at living a normal life like everyone around me and I suck at taking my own life. I disappointed everybody and now everytime someone sees me they are reminded of how much of a failure I am. I can't handle seeing you guys wasting your time with me. I can't handle knowing that I'm a disappointment to all of you." He had so much more to say but he didn't want to bother Sam with more problems. "No, Cammy! Don't say that, please. You are lovely and we're not wasting our time with you. We wasted our time with getting drunk and ignoring what was going on around us instead of making sure that you were okay. We are the ones who should feel bad and we do. You are so, so important, Cammy." He rolled over to Cam and pulled the now silently crying man in a tight hug. "Don't cry."

They stayed in this position until Cam calmed down and broke the silence. "I'm -" "Shh, no. Don't apologize! You don't have to feel bad for anything." Everytime Cameron tried saying sorry Sam interrupted him. Sam found it extremely cute how serious the guitarist was. "Cammy, stop trying to apoplogize! It's okay, really. I'm calling Brittany." Sam smiled and wiped away Cam's tears. "Why?" He sounded so innocent and confused, it was adorable. "Because I'm not leaving you here and you don't want anybody else to see you, so I guess that's the only thing we can do. Brittany can wait." The guitarist sat up "No, she can't wait. She'll get really mad, you can't just call and say that you won't come. What would you tell her anyway? 'Yeah, sorry I can't come today. Cam's not feeling well and I won't leave him at home.'? I heard what she said when she was here." Sam felt a sudden pain in his whole body, Cam heard everything what they said, including Brittany saying the worst things someone could ever say. "You know, that if you ever want to see your stuff again, you have to pick it up today."

Sam nodded in agreement. "Okay, but what about you?" Cam was right, Brittany was a bitch and she would probably throw his things away. "I'm coming with you."
