Why'd you come back? (Rev! Edd x Kevin) (ON HOLD)

Chapter 6:

(Kevin POV)

   Then, we heard it.

   It came from outside, sounded like old rusty gears turning. I grab the medicine and take some quickly before turning around to see a small, dirty, rusty, gray pickup truck pull up in Edd's driveway. Two middle-aged men come out of the truck. One of them was pretty tall and was wearing a stained white tanktop with a pair of stained jeans. The other one was a little shorter with a black t-shirt that had a few small holes and dark jeans. He looked a lot more muscular than the first one.

  The two men walked up to Edd's door and knocked a few times. When there was no response, the muscular one kicked the door open and walked in, with the tall one following right behind and slamming the door shut.

I turned to my left to see Nazz sitting next to me looking out the window as well. "What do you think is gonna happen...?" She asked me. "I'm not sure, why would I care anyways?" I replied coldly. She got the message and turned to face the living room, as did I.

  After a few minutes we heard yelling, screaming, and crashing coming from Edd's house. I turned back to look at Edd's house and through one of the windows, I see Edd standing there. His nose is bleeding badly and his cheek is bruised. He is facing to one side of him as the tall man comes into view, with a broken pipe-sort-of-thing. But just then, from behind Edd, the muscular man is sneaking up behind him with a broom.

  That's it. Even though he's my enemy, I don't think this is right. I think as I find myself standing and limping out the door, Nazz close behind. I slow down and reach out my hand to Nazz. "Nazz, you stay here and call the cops, got it?" She nods and I continue across the street towards Edd's house. I roll up my sleeves and open the door, finding an empty bottle on the ground I can use as defense. I hear Another crash come from upstairs. I try my best to walk as fast as I can to the stairs and to climb them. Once I get upstairs I spot Edd aginst a wall with the two men coming towards him.

   I quietly get my way to behind the men, holding my finger to my mouth when Edd sees me. I throw the glass bottle to the other side of the room so it smashes, and so the men both look over to the wall. Edd takes the chance and kicks one in the gut then in the back, he hits the wall and falls. We both go at the next guy, who is already trying to injure me, but I easily dodge him.

   Little did we know, the other guy got back up and came at me and pushed me to the ground.

  Luckily, I heard police sirens. I only got a few kicks to my head and abdomen before the police come through the door and take the men away.

   Everything went black.
