Savanna is getting more and more worked up. As she gets more angry, her hands start to glow more. Its quite the display. People are turning and staring. Everybody is oblivious to Savanna's hands but me, so I can't tell if I am just seeing things. There is no way I can just watch my friends get bullied, so i force myself to take my attention away from her hands. I joined in. "THESE ARE MY FRIENDS, AND IF YOU THINK THAT WE WILL IGNORE YOU FOREVER, YOU COULD NOT BE MORE WRONG!!!" We continue yelling and teachers are starting to notice the commotion. I look and see that now Ella's hands have a glowing greenish hue to them. She is also getting worked up. I turn my head and see Brielle's, and hers have a deep glowing blue to them. "You guys need to calm-" I'm cut off by their yelling. "You guys-" "Hello?!" "SAVANNA!!!" Savanna whips around, furious. "WHAT?!!" She pounds her hands on the table, and the unbelievable happens. The table lights on fire. Somebody is screaming, then I realize it's me. The fir is growing quite rapidly, and it's burning a hole in the floor. Smoke is clouding all around. "WE NEED WATER!!!!" Screams Brielle, and at that moment she jerks her hands away from the growing fire, and water comes out of them. The fire is distinguished. We all calm, but only for a second. There is too much smoke to breath or see a foot away, and there is a hole that drills into the ground and mud is thick in it. Everybody is choking, and I don't understand what's going on, I can breath just fine. I look down at the hole, and I catch a glimpse of my hands. They have a sparkling white clearish glow. What? Ella is looking down at the hole. She can barely breath. She weakly makes out the words "needs ground" she points to the hole, and from her hands come dirt and rocks. Their hands were glowing, and they get powers. Mine are also glowing, what do I get? I notice people are falling over from lack of air. I can breath! And I have powers! I must have air! I make an upward motion with my hands and the smoke evaporates. People start gasping for air. Coughing people are everywhere. The fire alarm has been going off, but nobody in this room could hear it over the yelling. Me, Ella, Brielle, and Savanna stare at each other. People are sprinting out of the room, but I can't think clearly. My mind tells me only one thing. Run. I listen to myself and throw open a window. I dive out, Ella hot on my tail , Brielle and Savanna not far behind. We run and run until we get to my house, and we don't pause to catch our breath until we get there. Nobody is home today, so I know we are safe here. My heart pounds ferociously. I look behind me, and we are all present. "What happened?" Ella answers me. "I.....we..... I think we have..... Powers?" "There has to be a normal explanation for what just happened." Savanna is the logical one. Brielle looks shocked. "Well, let's test our so called powers and see if they're legit!" I nod. I go first, flicking my wrists softly in a different multitude of patterns. Well it was good I did it softly, because that tiny motion sent a gust of powerful wind our way. Ella tested hers positive too. Next was Savanna, and her powers were strong, but Brielle tested her own by putting out Savanna's fire. "I guess it's official." Says Brielle "this is pretty cool, if you think about it. I mean, we could be like super heroes or something." Ella nods. "But it also means that we are in constant danger." Savanna contributes "Maybe we should find another like us, to show us the way." Suddenly, a knock sounds on the door. I go to the window and look out. It's a woman. She has red hair and green eyes. She knocks again. "Girls, my name is Anne. I know your guys secret, so there isn't any use being afraid I will find out. I have a power of my own, watch." She knows we are looking at her. All of a sudden, she turns invisible. "You girls need to trust me" I have an idea, because I don't know if I trust Anne or not. "We will meet you at the park by the swing set around seven. There will be no invisibility tricks, and trust me our powers are greater than yours. So don't pull anything." She smiles sincerely. "Sounds like a plan"

My parents are home, and I greet them with a smile. I guess earlier the school called them to tell about how after the fire we went missing, and not wanting to give away my power I said that I got scared because the smoke had choked me and I wanted to go home. They believed me, but they seemed suspicious. Anyway, I leave home and on the way to the park I grab my longboard, I forgot it running home. I cruise into the park, where I know my friends are waiting with Anne. There are a lot of people there, so not only will we have at least fifty witnesses, but we will also have our powers to protect us. I wave to my friends and nod toward Anne. "Hi, as you know I'm Anne".....,Authors note: I'm not done working on this, so stick with me if you want more!
