Ya Big Goof (Ness x Reader)

I'm so sorry! I'm still on vacation while writing this one, I just didn't have enough time to write anything down! I'm on my 3rd day of wifi, and I haven't got a break from when I wrote my A/N. So please accept this as an apology!

This is AU. Like always.

3rd Person's P.O.V.

"1, 2, 3! Octopus!"

Paula, Jeff and Poo darted from the wall, trying not to get caught by Ness or (Y/N) and to make it to the other side.

"I'll get Poo. You get Jeff and Paula." Ness instructed (Y/N). "Okay." (Y/N) said.

They then ran to catch their prey.

(Y/N) figured that it'd be easier to catch Jeff first, considering how slow he is. So she headed after Jeff.

After she tagged him she went after Paula, who was fairly more quick than Jeff. (Y/N), who was the 2nd fastest in the group, still had no problem catching up to her. It was just that Paula could make sharp turns that she didn't mind making use of, and as soon as (Y/N) would catch up Paula would turn to another direction and dart off.

(Y/N) noticed a pattern in Paula's turning, though: right, right, left, left. So (Y/N) noted that after Paula turned left twice the pattern would repeat and she would go right twice, so (Y/N) went to Paula's right side without her noticing and Paula turned to the right, noticing too late that she had made a mistake.

"Oof!" Paula said while crashing into (Y/N), though not knocking her down. "Ha, gotcha!" (Y/N) exclaimed, hugging her friend. "No fair! You're so much faster than me..." Paula pouted. "But you turn super quickly! Good strategy, by the way." (Y/N) pointed out. "Just sit down and be seaweed, already." (Y/N) said. "Fine..."

When Paula sat down, (Y/N) saw that Ness was having a hard time catching Poo. Well, he was the fastest, even faster than (Y/N)! But she saw that Ness was trying to herd Poo to a corner, so (Y/N) ran up to help Ness corner Poo and catch him.

Ness' P.O.V.

Poo was about to slip by me when (Y/N) ran in front of him, stopping him in his tracks. Then she started forcing him towards the wall. I saw she was trying to put him into a corner like I was doing, so I helped her.

Reader's P.O.V.

Ness saw what I was doing and started to help. We eventually cornered Poo and I tapped him.
"Gotcha!" I exclaimed. "Urgh, fine. I admit though, you guys did a good job cornering me." Poo admitted then walked away to someplace unknown.

"Hey guys, we better go home now, it's starting to get pretty dark..." Paula pointed out. "Yeah, true." Jeff agreed. "Well then, goodnight everyone!" I said. "Hey! You do know I'm coming with you too, right?" Ness asked. "Oh yeah, we live right beside each other! I keep forgetting since I just moved there." (Y/N) remembered. "Well, c'mon then!"

(Timeskip)

3rd Person's P.O.V.

(Y/N) and Ness were halfway home. They were both just talking about random stuff. But...

"Hey, (Y/N). Can I ask you something?" Ness asked. "You just did, silly." (Y/N) pointed out. Ness giggled. "No, but seriously." Ness said. "Okay..." (Y/N) said.

"Do you... like me?"

The question took (Y/N) by surprise, but she knew what her answer was.

"Yeah... I do. Why? Do you like me?" (Y/N) turned the tables.

"Yeah, why do you think I would be asking?" Ness said.

(Y/N) tackled Ness and hugged him tightly, and Ness returned the embrace.

"I love you, ya big goof."

Whoo! I finished it! I don't know why it took 2 days, but it's finished!

I noticed I've been basing the last, like, three oneshots off of running games. And I don't know why.

Anyway, I just went to the rum factory at puerto plata. And now I know I hate rum!

Again, the picture up top has no significance to the oneshot. I just thought it was funny as hell! ; )
